I closed my TYD. At this point it’s of no real use. Dates are meaningless right now.

Just dropped by our dealer...SM showed us the Porsche Management Site where they get all the updates...Release for sale date for all 911's was moved up from 10/16 to 10/09...He stated it was updated on 10/01, but everything is an estimate as usual.

Yes...Saw with my own two eyes...Porsche is not holding up anything, but CARB which was initially California Air Resources Board, but apparently thirteen other states have adopted the same legislation. VW Diesel Gate started the whole issue. They have 50 cars they are waiting on...as every dealer across the country.

My Sales Associate emailed today and said October 9th is the release date with no delay codes as of yet. My car is scheduled for arrival at Benicia on the 26th.

Same email exchange with my SA today - he sent me the screen grab of their system. Incredibly frustrating.. I've resigned myself to a November first drive. 10/9 for the base, S, 4S and Turbo; 10/23 for the Targa; 11/4 for the Heritage

That would not surprise me - our smallish Austin dealer sells 120+ cars a month.

Yes, while there we checked out the lot, they have hardly any cars. New or preowned. They bought us out of our lease early. It is sitting on the showroom floor as a CPO.

Talked to your SM just this week. You are so lucky to have him. Rick says “Hi”!

Christian is one of the best. If not for him, I would not buy via Austin.

I just received the same response:

"Thank you for your inquiry. The U.S. EPA does not delay certification as that process it up to the manufacturer and they would be the one to provide any information on the certification process as this is considered private business information by the manufacturer." EPA Imports Line, Exemptions

So, it appears to be PORSCHE'S fault. Ridiculous.

It’s not up to Porsche, the EPA has to approve the cars for sale. Typical government response. Blame it on Porsche.
