I'm dropping my trade-in off at my dealership on Monday and intend to get as much clarity on delivery of my car as possible -- will report back if I get any new info. With what one would think is the sheer amount of logistics involved with all of these cars clearing at once (loading and transport from the ports, multiple dealerships taking delivery at approx the same time, etc), that if things were going to be pushed back again that someone would know by now. I also have to believe that Porsche would pad the date -- why push everyone's date to 10/2 and then disappoint a significant number of customers yet again?
It's pretty amazing to me that a company as seemingly buttoned up as VW/Porsche cannot seem to get some simple things right (ie TYD)

Yeah, you're probably right. I trust the info here before my SA. I was leaning more towards him pacifying me since I sent that email to PCNA. I'll patiently wait for the phone call.

As others have posted, TYrD is still showing a past date (on my case 9/11) en route to dealer and a 10/2 delivery date. I’m not seeing it happen anymore. I’m hoping end of October. That isn’t based on anything other than a lack of confidence in the Gov’t and the bureaucratic arm of PAG.

I checked with my dealer and the status still shows 10/2 delivery to dealer inventory. Nothing new.

Should be released Wednesday. Then to the dealer no longer than a week hopefully. I’m only few hours from Jacksonville. My hope is my car shows at dealer one week from today. 👍👍. Mine is showing 10/2 still as well.

The Wednesday release hasn’t changed from what I’ve seen. Last I heard from my dealer was 9/30. And I’ve read a lot of posts of others hearing that same date.

Even my dealer isn't confident about the date. Delays are becoming the norm now.

My logic is if the 9/30 date Weren’t still in the cards, there would have been some communication or date change already...

I’m trying to be optimistic

Looks like a repeat of last year at this time as I awaited my 2020. They kept delaying one week at a time but once the EPA/CARB approval they got cars to dealers fast except for some (depending build date) were held fot two weeks for software update.
