Raised by Wolves (HBO max) is pretty good... Ridley Scott produced it. Kinda suggesting how the earth could have been visited and populated by alien beings in the past...

BTW, HBO max streaming is just $15/month, $2 more than Netflix.

If you watched everything in Netflix, you should move to HBO max or other streaming services for a while... I think there is no penalty doing it.

That's a good suggestion. I tried Disney + and that was not very good.

Porsche doesn't know what date to send out since it's all up to the EPA and they don't give dates. Any date is just a WAG. They stopped updating TYD since it has no meaning right now.

True dat..and, I’m sure the EPA is slow-balling the process because of the prior Porsche/VW Deisel-gate scandal.

Now there’s this involving gasoline powered vehicles from Porsche: Article from August 24, 2020

Second “The Last Kingdom”

I think everyone is correct that the dealers don’t know because it’s based on the gubmint.

Personally I’ve made peace with it being delayed until sometime in November.

And that might give somebody time to find my second production picture :-)

I wonder if Dieselgate is the reason for the EPA delay?

I don't think so. Not sure what the hold-up is; but looking at the CARB web site, there are really very few of anyone's 2021 cars that have been approved since last June.

Disney + is worth it for The Mandalorian, all the Star Wars content and all the Marvel content, especially in 4K. If you have kids (I don’t, I have a 911), then it’s a no brainer.

Per my link above (The article is from August 2020) -

When we reached out to the company for comment, a Porsche Cars North America spokesperson replied with the following statement: "Porsche is routinely and continuously reviewing technical and regulatory aspects of its vehicles. The company also conducts reviews of potential issues. This is an expression of a functioning system of internal control measures and our corporate culture. In such reviews, Porsche has identified topics that it has now – as in other instances – pro-actively brought to the attention of the regulators. These topics mainly relate to specific hardware and software used in certification testing. In certain cases, such components may also have differed from parts used in series vehicles. Based on our current investigative results, these topics only relate to vehicles that were developed years ago. There is no evidence that vehicles from current production are affected. Porsche is continuing its review and is coordinating closely with authorities."

Given Porsche’s prior history with diesel-gate, I would think that the “certification testing” and the review process, will be meticulously scrutinized.

Not that it really matters or is reliable, but my TYD updated overnight to show delivery on 10/16. Car is in Davisville and had previously been estimated for 10/2 delivery. My car only arrived there early last week — so I have much less to complain about than those of you who have already been waiting 6 weeks or more.

interesting, mine still shows 10/2 as of now, not that it matters.. just a datapoint. I’ve been at Houston since 8/15
