If there’s been ongoing negotiation with California anything I find it understandable Porsche hasn’t created expectations with their customers as to when things would be resolved and finalized, particularly in this environment. I’m totally sympathetic as to what you guys have been going through but as someone with a lot of experience negotiating with CA agencies, I would never, never, never, ever, ever give the State of California a bargaining chip in a negotiation that almost anything result-wise would have created.
Further, that’s very generous of Porsche as to the PSMP-s. If you assume they’re are a functional company they’ve understood the greater the grief to their customers with orders, the more it was going to cost them.

Crazy conspiracy theory Thursday - After months of sitting, rodents have nested in our cars and destroyed the soy cased wiring harnesses. Rodents don’t care about whether your car is going to a CARB state or not. Knowing what I know now, I never would have traded in my 2019 991 GTS.
About a year ago, I went out of the country for 2 weeks and left the car parked in the driveway. I went to drive it a couple of days after I got back, only to have no power steering. Had towed only to find out “some rodent had eaten through a bunch of wires and was setting permanent residency in the underside of the car. I was blown and thinking the dealer was just trying to rip me off quoting me $2k to replace a wiring harness until I called my insurance company. Agent told me he deals with that same issue at least 1x/day in FL!!
I have been waiting far less than many here (2 months), but I’ve had the same feeling of regretting trading my 991.2 several times!

Track Day
Couldn't agree more. My 992 has been in Rhode Island since 9/30. Since this is my 6th 911 in the last 20 years, the enthusiasm has waned a bit anyhow, and if the 12/4 date is pushed back I will really consider walking. PCNA is just simply awful.

...i was just told my TTS arrived yesterday in Davisville RI, and is awaiting Certification -- from the sound of your post i might have gotten lucky, since 12/4 is tomorrow.....waiting 1 day for that would be a gift......

I’m in the same boat as Vintage72. In TX with my car being held for “quality audit.” Just got pushed back to 12/18 today. TYD hasn’t updated yet, but dealer system did. 🤬
