9/18 then 9/11 then 8/27 then 9/11 then 9/18 then 10/2 then 10/9 then 11/6 then 11/13 ... who knows. My car arrived at port Houston on 8/19[/QUOTE]

Sure enough -- my same exact previous pushes and now also showing push from 11/13 to 11/20. C2S been in Baltimore since 8/22. Tough for everyone for sure, but us folks in the northeast have missed out on arguably one of the best stretches of late fall weather in recent memory -- epic driving weather. I've gone ahead and ordered the winter wheel set with all the necessary tools -- swapping the summer shoes will be the first order of business (at this rate, maybe a fun Christmas morning activity!).....

Mine, too, as of tonight.

And to think how left out I was feeling with 11/13–so glad it’s now 11/20.

i thought the factory opened September (closed for August vacation) and that was the first batch of MY21? I guess that's not the case if yours arrived on 8/22?

Should we be concerned about flat spots on the high performance tires? My car has been sitting in Rhode Island since 8/26. When I asked back in September everyone said it would "probably" be fine and the spots would drive out. Now, the car has been sitting for almost 3 months. Still same feeling? I checked a number of the tire company sites and they mention flat spotting happens after a month or so and generally can be driven out. BUT, the problem is more serious with high performance tires that have been sitting for many months. They also indicated sometimes tires need to be replaced.

I mean at this point there is no sense in worrying about it...if it shows up with flat spots at the dealer and has them when you go on the test drive it will be immediately noticeable and drastically so. It’ll be on the dealer to fix at that point, no need to borrow worry when none of us even have cars yet...

As far as tires flat-spotting, one easy way to avoid the problem is raising tire pressure. Based on the numerous Porsches I have purchased over the years, the cars typically arrive from the factory with tires set at the maximum pressure (40-45 psi). I think permanent flat-spotting isn't a big issue.

BTW, first thing I do when I get a new Porsche is adjust the tire pressure down to comfortable levels.

They snuck production in just prior to the August close -- then the car sat in Emden for about 4 weeks. Funny to think back to August thinking that I'll have my car before Labor Day! Not really funny, but...

Not a concern. Mine sat in Germany from its January 2020 build date until delivery in early July. No flat-spotting, no paint issues.

My 2020 C2S sat at port in California for 4 months (mid june - mid October) last year and no tire flat spot issues on the Goodyear tires. There were, however, some minor clear coat issues in places where the protective cover edges were. Roof area. This was easily remedied. Dealer (or Porsche) provided one year extra of complementary service for the delay.

My car finished production on 7/22. The first week of the 2021 model production.

And, my TYD just updated this morning with 11/20. It’s just another date in a long line of dates. Don’t get your hopes up about that date either. I found the popcorn...

They started building 2021s around July 10 IIRC.
