Dropped my trade-in this morning and the dealer is holding firm to the Wed date. When pressed lightly with just a few clarifying questions, my sense is that they don't know any more than we do. I still think the fact that they pushed everyone to 10/2 early in Sept, that they padded the date to be sure they could hit it (plus, after all of the TYD delivery dates being all over the board through August, not sure why they would suddenly all synch to 10/2 with no other changes over the past 3-4 weeks). But -- I may be giving too much credit....

The epa shows some certifications for the vag 2.0t early this month so maybe that means the 3.0t is next!

What do you guys make of this.. my SA called today because he was expecting my car to be on the delivery truck today, but it wasn't. (what a shock!) When I questioned him about the 2021s being approved for CARB/EPA, he said he assumed it has because it's on the list for "approved to be transported". He's hoping it'll be on the truck Wednesday.

Pretty frustrating.. Would be so great to get a few weeks with the car before winter sets in here in NYS.

The insanity continues, and, as of last night, my 2021 911 C2S joins those sitting in a port parking lot waiting for Porsche and Uncle Sam to get it right.

I logged into Porsche Track Your Dream this morning and my car made it onto Mediterranean Highway on 9/24, which pushed up my delivery date to dealer from ETA 33 days as of yesterday to 9 days as of today. Hope EPA certification is done before it gets to Davisville.

As an aside, when do the 2022 models come out? If my car is delayed much longer, it;s looking like I will be taking delivery of a one year old car...in model years.

Looks like the previous 2.0t vag motor got certified on 9/11, which was the previous day of delivery.. I’m Thinking we missed that certification day what’s why it was moved to 10/2.. the next time epa certs are released. My bet is our cars are released for transport on 10/2

Technically the 2021s haven't even yet come out. Hence this whole thread Agree that thinking ahead to 2022 model year is a bit premature at this point.
