Click on Programming Coding - Manual Coding without rules
Highlight all Selections again, F12 - Note that this is all I'm seeing.
And these are the only items that come up. When I do this on my 981, I see tons more in options...which I've also seen here in other folks screenshots.
I thought I took some screenshots of version 4 - but as stated, I can't see where to put version 4 into engineering mode. So when I go under configuration, everything is in English and there's no 'Manual Coding' option. Like it's in V mode.
1) Did your older version ever work? Where did you get this software?
2) I note your vehicle is not auto detected, which is where I would guess is the start of the problems
3) It looks like the slider under Choose Model Type can be slid down for more options?
4) My question again is why use PIWIS 4 on pre 2024 vehicles?
5) In your PIWIS 3, your ignition key is not seen or no data received (code 29000)
6 ) Should Produktionsmodus Deaktivirung be set to ein and Rollenmodus be set to aktiviert?
7) What dongle/sw version are you using?

I think the problem begins with your car not being auto detected and as I mentioned I don't know why you're using PIWIS 4 on cars that can be adequately be scanned with PIWIS 3. Next is where you got version 3 and 4 since you say you're getting the same error?
You need specialized equipment; go to any reputable glass place they'll do it for you

PS You do NOT need PIWIS, you can do it with an Autel for example as well
Problem solved, I found that I'd changed BCM1 > KW > Bitfield sound_version to loudspeaker. Changing it back to instrument_cluster fixed the issue. Clearly, ParkAssist sound output to loudspeaker isn't a valid option!
In need of some help to reactivate active spoiler. It was disabled by the dealer for a fixed wing install. I've toggled the Sport Design settings and enabled the Menu_Display_ Spoiler, but the button remains missing from the display. Any advice on what I might be missing? thank you.

Did you auto code after reactivating the menu display option? You need to auto code if you havent.

I did not auto code after. I will give it a try. I have not done an auto coding before may need your help with that and Thank you for the quick respond.

Check out my post #1198, you might need to change the car model in PCM (Control Unit MIB2). One combo I tried had an empty spoiler button, that may be your issue

Charging the car model isnt necessary. He just needs to go into the settings, deactivate the spoiler tab, then auto code.
1. Do virtual read of ECU software with equipment like Flex, Autotuner, bFlash, CMD, etc. You will get a bin file.
2. find and buy the DAMOS file for your engine
3. Find switches for *** and change them with software like WinOLS
4. Write this file back to your ECU
5. Done.
If you can do the first step, then I can do steps 2-3 for you (PM)
Same way i tuned my exhaust flaps positions, slightly drop down cooling temperature, adjust a cold start.
If you have write access to the DME and the library file for your calibration, search for:
00 17 00 8E 00 E0 05 0A 00 5E 01 00 00 80 07 80 03 00 01 00 00 20 0A
and change to:
00 17 00 8E 00 E0 05 0A 00 5E 01 00 00 80 07 80 03 00 01 00 00 00 00
and write back to car.
This changes A/S/S to activate below 0 RPM (default is 1296 RPM) so effectively deactivates.
You need library file and flasher, cheapest I found is DBF1 https://deadbeefflash.com/ to buy both.
I believe you can use any free HEX editor to make that change and DBF1 will recalculate CKsums automatically.
That would save you cost of DAMOS and Winols but still something like $600
Possibly your calibration won't have that exact HEX sequence, in that case If you send your library file to me, I'll search and compare to mine and I should be able to map it out and find/change it for you ... for free.

Im having the exact same issues using PIWIS III (41.5) on my 2021 S. Screens look identical. Did you find a solution?

So - I can get it to autodetect...think I was just showing in the case above that the 2022-2024 GTS is not listed in PIWIS 3 (even if I scroll down). Attached - you can see the auto connect.
Guess my questions is - has anyone with a 2022-2024 GTS or 4GTS have success in getting PIWIS 3 to successfully code changes? Unless I'm completely missing the boat here (which again, I've coded my 981), I'm not sure why I can't get it to work. Maybe there was a setup I did few years back that I'm not recalling...
Old PIWIS III software I got from ODBII.com online - also have a Virtual Machine copy of PIWIS III - both do not work on the 992, but do work on my 981. New copy of PIWIS 4 (which also has a copy of PIWIS 3) I got from CarToolDeals.com
Main issue I see - the Russian PIWIS 4 tutorial online has a V and E mode under tools...
mine does not have that (it's listing as needing an update). I have a call out to the engineer on this...
One other thing I asked the engineer - getting an error on the VCI connect (though, I can connect and run diagnostics and reports)
