completed this, but brake light isnt working. It was working prior to coding it. This indication the wiring is wrong or needing the control unit mod? Its a 2020, but not sure if the early models need the control unit wiring modification.
Move the brake wiring to the two vertical brake light unit wiring. The reason current wiring is not working because you disable the spoiler control unit which stop sending brake +12V to original spoiler brake light.

Sorry, I read this a few times and still don't quite understand what you are saying in the first sentence. Can you elaborate?
Ah okay, as I mentioned in the post my default value was 4 (which shows the normal carrera). I guess this means the only options here are 4 and 5 (hardtop and convertible for whatever the car is), and anything outside of those two values results in a cayenne.
My 992.1 C2S is 4-0-6-8 (see below)
Derivate 4
Derivate_Supplement 0
Class 6
Generation 8
I believe the Generation could mean 7 = 991, 8 = 992. I got bored of long PCM reboots to try too many other combos! I think Derivate_Supplement and/or Class might be the ones to change ... A 718 Spyder is 5-1-4-4

I think you'll like it. It's a long list of data.
I did discover that the settings of what to show/not show don't seem to survive an ignition cycle.
There's also a Software Reset option in the menu that sounds a bit too ominous for me to try out!

The plug that connects to the third brake light in the deck lid is the same connector as the third brake light mounted in the wing. Essentially you can use the same plug.
I made a fun little discovery today playing around with the wing positions for my turbo wing.
Under PCM in coding values, there are three value inputs towards the bottom:
By changing Derivate value from 4 (normal carrera image shown below) to 1,2,6,7, or 8 you get a Cayenne (everything functions as normal and the cayenne even has the same display changes when changing drive modes or enabling things like suspension or exhaust changes. No spoiler animation though lol.
Changing it to 5 yielded me a convertible carrera (not pictured). Can someone tell me what number will yield a Turbo S? I also tried to play with the 'skin' option but it didn't do anything afaik. Also not sure if car class has different values that unlock other models.
Can someone experiment here with PIWIS, I am using Autel and I'm sure PIWIS will provide more info / guidance.
ok @Mr.Gonz I think I may have discovered something ...
I played with the Derivate_Supplement value and tried 0 through 9. The table and images below show what I've found; the salmon coloured cells need further investigation. I've changed mine to the GT3 Touring in anticipation of my upcoming real lid mod!
Worth noting that changing the car in PCM doesn't show the same driving modes as the cluster but the cluster driving modes are still the correct ones.

Interesting. did the aerokit derivate_supplement actually show the aerokit wing?
