I just disabled startstop function completely by edit manually DME software. Now I have not even this button on pcm screen.
Could you please share how you did it if you can. Using piwis? It's kinda hard to believe or maybe you got some newer MY that allows for these changes to be persistant.
I even asked the guys on russian piwis telegram channel, but also no working solution ))
All the options commonly mentioned here (DME codes editing or even gateway (stop prohibition)) are resulting in car restoring codes back to default on the next start. At least in my MY20. I tried doing that using Launch X431 and PIWIS 3.

Thanks! But I only changed the 3 to 5 and clicked write. No dice. I'll try again with your advice then going back to see if it saved. @rnlst_log Any advice? Thanks.
I have the same issue. Looks like newer 911s have some modules write protected by SFD2.
Mars was able to help me code matrix headlights but similarly like you, I cant change this option for example.
You can run logging and then see if you see checksum error when writing.

Just curious. Which adapter are you all using? I am using the T6PT3G.
1. Do virtual read of ECU software with equipment like Flex, Autotuner, bFlash, CMD, etc. You will get a bin file.
2. find and buy the DAMOS file for your engine
3. Find switches for *** and change them with software like WinOLS
4. Write this file back to your ECU
5. Done.
If you can do the first step, then I can do steps 2-3 for you (PM)
Same way i tuned my exhaust flaps positions, slightly drop down cooling temperature, adjust a cold start.

Hi guys, I need help with activating wireless carplay using piwis. When i code the wifi to be active, 2 notifications keeps popping up about wifi being available and not available.
The video is in the attachment. Have anyone have experienced this before?
Thanks in advance

You seem to have PCM 6. Isn't it standard for PCM 6 to have wireless carplay? with no coding changes required
Haven't done it so I don't know the steps but Carplay is in the MIB2 module.
Here are the steps from a 2019 Cayenne: MIB2 (Zentralrechner) --> Manual Coding without rules --> Vehicle Configuration --> Bitfield (7) Apple_DIO_Wireless: On and Bitfield (5) wlan_5ghz_switch: On
In my 2023 992,
I can't look for under MIB2 in PCM6...
so can't change..
please teach me to activate wireless carplay in PCM6 .
Is your vehicle equipped with Carplay? As far as I know, the Carplay of MIB3 vehicles is controlled by the gateway module. If you want to activate Carplay, it is impossible to achieve it from coding. You need to crack the gateway and write the FOD code.
