I would guess that it's in BCM2 or DME. You just have to poke around...

I need to pick back up on assembling the software / hardware needed to do this. My 992 will be here in a few weeks. @siberian the info you sent me a few months back still correct / the best options?

I changed the speed limit for VIM, it always goes back to 0 next time I access. I think that requires change in country of origin. Just like the ACC starting at the speed limit rather than 20 mph. It worked once, after cycling the ignition it went back to 20. There's a background nanny for certain options.

Exactly. Did the same on my 2012 535i Sport back in 2012. I liked the key fob feature, whereby you hold the button down and all windows and sunroof open.

Did you change the pin value to 1 as well?
