does anyone know if it is possible to code the opening (maximum height) of the rear spoiler? I have tried in all ways but I can find nothing else, only the inspection mode which increases the maximum height for service
it’s a dongle, you insert it on the Obdii for 20 seconds and activate the video in motion, after that, you remove the dongle. It’s always activated until you insert it again to remove the code.
the seller is not a sponsor here, I can’t post the link
Coding it out completely requires modifications of quite a number of parameters in VOF, probably DME etc. While modifying the speed deployment figures are a single place change. If I were to bet I would probably go with the latter. Just my 2 cents of course

@dbtran messaged me and said the dealer completely coded out his spoiler, seems like its easier to code it out completely vs get to the specific menu to change speed of deployment.
Hi All - Newb 992 owner, happy to be here! Interested in getting started with coding - is there a 'coding 101 FAQ' eg what tooling is required, etc? Guidance appreciated!
Survey: is there such a thing as a 'coding friendly dealer', ie can I pay for time and materials to have a dealer enable/disable <blah> via PIWIS 3? Asking because my local service tech says 'Porsche doesn't allow us to perform such tasks', but that would seem to ignore a latent revenue stream for merely changing factory software configurations (eg disable cold start noises, enabling window open/close via remote, etc). Wondering if I need to find a more progressive service department?
That is correct they can't and won't. I'll go even further and state that most dealers don't even have access to E(ngineering) Mode which means they wouldn't be able to do what you want.
One way to code what you want, is to go to the Region List Forum and put an entry in the appropriate one to where you live offering some libation or other for a friendly fellow owner to lend his PIWIS.
The preferable one is of course to buy your own, however if all you want to do is an occasional SRI or minor tweak a friend is your best bet - just make sure to find out what his favorite libation is.

Any guys in the Atlanta area wanna meet up and chat a group buy on PIWIS? I've almost purchased several times but cant really justify the cost for the few features I want to add to the car. IE window up/down with FOB etc. and the occasional SRI reset. I would be happy to kick in some funds. Don't really care "who holds on to it while not in use". Just an idea.
@911Castle as in my reply above, please post your request in the appropriate Forum, namely Rennlist Regional Forums - SE Region. Thank you
