for the additional items brought out by F7, under maintenance of vehicle data, those "value group " can not be changed by the "coding tab". it is grey out. you can only "save" by F8 after selecting a different value. Then you need to code it by going back to screen after hitting "diagnostic", then Cltr A to select "all items" then hit the coding tab, and select automatic coding after that.

Yep, haven't taken the car out today as temp hit -40 but coding this feature is as you describe:
Overview -> Additional Menu (F7) -> Maintenance of Vehicle Data -> Next -> Next (until you get to PR) -> Scroll down to Lenkung -> Select SERVOLENKUNG PLUS -> SAVE
Return to OVERVIEW
Now that your vehicle profile has been changed, by selecting the servo Plus option, you need to code it into the vehicle and this is where Auto Code comes in. It will take your profile file and load old and changed values into your vehicle configuration files.
If you know the module that pertains to the change you just made, you can simply select that module in Overview and then -> Coding programming -> Auto coding and it will now write the new value. If you don't know what module it is you can select All in Overview (CTRL A) then -> Coding and Programming and select Auto Code. This will take up to 15 minutes

I wish there was someone in Toronto that can do this for me. I actually like AM radio for the weather and news reports.

Theoretically your dealer could do that. I'm not sure due to broadcasting rules if they would do it or even if it would work on particular markets. I have been seeing that some of my coding goes away after cycling the ignition, I suspect it's the latter. You could ask your friendly dealer or an Indy w/ PIWIS 3.

OK I did a small test. Took a portable AM radio to the garage and next to the 992. I tuned in to a station with no problem. Then I tried to tune in to the same station with the car and all I got was static.
Conclusion: You can enable the AM graphic, tuning scale etc. but the tuner itself is missing. AM is no longer available. If I've overlooked something or other folks with a 992 could confirm that would be great.

Yes, I had thought of that, but by manually tuning into a specific frequency, the one I was having no trouble on my portable, and having it displayed giving just static (and across the entire spectrum) I don't think it's the frequency spread (which is what I think you're referring to) but the total lack of a tuner. Have you managed to get any station? Also if I recall you have a 991.2 and we've already seen several instances where there are differences between those vehicles and the 992s.
Please let me know if you manage to tune in to any station. Thanx

OK, update. Just tried to see if my wife's 2020 Macan S had AM and it does and works. So it's a 2021 "upgrade"... there is no error, I just don't have a tuner.
