Sorry but I don’t have the Techart springs.

I stand corrected....the angle of your avatar photo - wheel gap looks narrow and similar to ggreg911’s car. It is a nice looking car gotta say.

What are the best dealers to contact for a targa allocation? Called few but I am getting completely different feedback...

Thanks - appreciate that. Here's larger picture from opposite side - may show better that it's a standard setup.

+1. I called 4 dealers in socal and none of them have any allocations. At this point on a waitlist to get an allocation then place the which would take another 3 months.

I called a bunch of dealers all over the country as well after I lost my first allocation due to stupidity. I'm first on my dealer's list for a Targa GTS but he isn't even sure he will get one.

I've been #2 on a list for about 90 days now... doesn't mean they aren't letting people skip ahead of me but still... certainly not a ton of allocations flowing right now

This is the build on my order thats waiting for an allocation BTW... I'm sure it would look very different by the time I locked it but for now: http://www.porsche-code.com/PMMLMEA4

i think you just have to call/ email as many as you can. Persistence pays off. I sent emails to many GM's. Luckily a local one responded and said they would give me their next allocation. It took a couple more months than originally estimated, but it came through. The journey is part of the experience.

Very nice build; with all those interior options you might consider just get the premium package.

Good suggestion, I was on the fence about that. Here is the new build:

I'm extremely happy with my Targa. I checked a lot of option boxes and my only regret is I didn't upgrade the gear shift ****. The optional aluminum gearshift is a much better look and it doesn't seem to be cracking like others have complained on the standard. One other note, the 18 way seats are much more comfortable on my 992 than they were on my 991.2 GTS, big improvement and a nice surprise. Good luck to all of you, and congrats on getting a fantastic car. And just an FYI, I have zero issues with wind noise and I drive with windows about 1/2 up most of the time.

Really looks wonderful! With that setup, I might consider the RS Spyder wheels and lose the Burmester. I did get the Burmester and half the time I don’t use it. When I do, I don’t hear the nuance. That might free up some room to add something else
