I can't see on the configurator how to spec it with everything but the number plate. It shows the option to delete either all decals or the front fender decals.

The 911 Turbo Wheels are starting to grow on me. Until now, the Exclusive Design wheels painted gloss black were my favorite but the Turbo Wheels are causing me to second guess myself.

I got to see a heritage red color in the flesh this weekend, someone locally has one (without the number stickers). I thought the red in person would be the metallic candy apple red like in the rendering above. I sort of thought it would be more like my volcano red McLaren. But when seen (it was bright sunlight, with a few clouds), it was much duller than I expected. Almost more of a rust red rather than candy apple/metallic red. I was thinking of trading my 992 C4S and getting this color, but seeing it live, I think I am going to stick with a more traditional color when I can get an allocation for the targa.

You would have to order it with the decals and then customize it.

Yes, I noticed it looked muted in some photos and more of a candy apple metallic in others. I just assumed it changed depending on the lighting condition but am surprised it still looked muted in bright sunlight.

Contrast/Clarity settings have been boosted big time.

The color in this pic looks very similar to Arena Red Metallic.

My Arena Red 993 TT had similar characteristics. In the right light it looked like the Heritage Edition red photos - but most of the time it didn't show its metallic nature at all.

Black roof.

Considered black, but really like the "warmer" two tone Mohave/Black color. Combined it with the wood to go less "race car". The car is already flashy enough, so wanted to tone it down a bit (not sure if that is at all possible with a car like this).

I love the look and it's exactly how we wanted it. It was probably one of the first color combos I started with when the whole configuration madness started. I just kept defaulting back to this look, so trust your gut!

Picked it up in mid-March. Already have 1,300 miles

on it.

It sure gets attention. One of only two signed by Boris (well, I only know of two....I guess there might be more than 2).

The porsche configurator has been updated for the Targas and you can now order shark blue! They also increased the base pricing several thousand dollars and changed the packages and also added some new wheel designs.

Also the GT3 configurator is up and running as well.

My Targa I picked up several weeks ago is metallic white but I would have gone shark blue if it had been available back when my order locked.

oh well- guess I will have to order a new one when they get to the 992.2 next year or so.

I just priced my Targa out with the same options and it's 3k more than my original MSRP. My Sales Advisor says I could make money if I wanted to sell it now, I don't. Love the car, glad I got it when I did. Good luck and enjoy.

Do dealers’ allocations for the year trickle in or are they given a year’s worth of allocations at a single point in time?
