Truthfully, I've had these at home since before the car arrived, but I've been hesitant to install. I finally bit the bullet as I was getting fed up with smudges and wipe-downs of the interior trim twice a week.

I was a little worried about that as well, but if you have plastic trim panel removal tools it is a non-issue. I wedged in at the 6:00 position on the boot surround so that I was up against the small section of matte black plastic for the sunroof controls. Once that popped up (with very little effort), the rest of the boot lifted by hand. It was a piece of cake.
I had a little trouble getting the bottom trim piece to adhere properly with the cupholder / try in place. Once I popped that as well the trim stuck perfectly.
Since the lower piece has to match the curve of the trim panel I started with that one and then moved on to the pieces on either side of the shifter.
It is easy to dry-fit the pieces without peeling the adhesive backing to visualize how the install will go.
1st Pic - Clear tail light (did that a while ago) but added my German Auto Club emblem
2nd Pic - new lloyds car mats (only did fronts) - also 911 emblem on dash
3rd Pic - Aluminum Gas Cap
Hey Richard, how did you attached your grille badge?

I don't know how he does it, but they can bolt right through the slats if you are careful and the threaded posts are long enough.
Because I don't want any risk to my deck lid or the painted slats on my car I did a little extra... Backed the badge with adhesive foam for padding on the slats and I coated the portion of the posts that go through the deck lid with heat shrink tubing so they won't rub where they pass through.

Thank you for the info! I guess I thought the bolts wouldn’t have space to go through the slats but I’m wrong

They are pretty thin and can sneak through, though you are slightly limited on location as the open parts of the deck lid don't go all the way to the outside edges.
Still waiting for my GTS to be delivered but at least I got the keyring. This was custom-made by Justin Placek/Hantritt, a Porsche upholsterer in Hamburg. Black nappa leather, pepita fabric, crayon stitching and the updated 992 GTS logo.
