After placing my order and getting my freeze date, I received one alert that my car had gone into production March 7. Since then, I've received no update and no pictures until today. My SA sent me a message saying the car has left the factory and is expected to be at Emden in a week. He also confirmed we're on target for my delivery date of May 26. Is this normal? Are there others who haven't received pictures or updates?
Mine did the same thing yesterday along with many others. It just seems like are artificial 1 month punt. I'm hoping over the next week when 2 boats will be leaving for the east coast, some of these dates revert back to something better. Maybe just wishful thinking but my TYD dates jumped out earlier a bunch an then reverted back a week later.
Same here … After completing production on 3/28, my Turbo S Cab arrived at Emden on 3/31 and was originally scheduled to go out on April 5, but yesterday TYD updated to now show a shipping date of May 12 . I know I’m not alone but I’d love to know why the massive 5 week delay just showed up yesterday!
My GTS goes into production next week. TYD still shows dealer arrival in first week of June (SoCal). I really hope it doesn’t delay for some reason. Is the France fiasco limited to the batch of cars from February? Are others with more recent builds getting their cars without delay?
My GTS was showing production starting in TYD as 4/4, my SA showed 4/7 on his system. Today is 4/13, nothing updated in TYD or on the SA side.
My delivery date is still showing as 5/23, fingers crossed that everything is done on time and makes it onto a ship for that timeline to hold.
Hope all goes well for you. I don’t know the answer to either question. But from reading posts on this site, it seems like the early February production cars were especially vulnerable. I have seen posts about other delays, but most seem to be related to other issues. Some seem to be sitting in Emden for a while, even though they skipped the French “side-trip”.

I feel bad for everyone whose 911s are stuck in France!
Glad the March builds aren’t getting held up. I’m counting down the days until mine enters production next week!
I woke up today with TYD showing I finally hit step 4 “manufacturing process has started”!
Step 4 updated to show 4/14 vs 4/4, but none of my other dates have slipped. I’m not sure this will hold since I have a fair amount of EM items that will have to be added after the car is built - I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I recently moved from CA back to WI, my dealer is in Milwaukee. Because I’m in the Midwest I really am hoping to avoid big delays since we have a shorter driving season than SoCal.
Your build looks great, I love Shark Blue. Let’s hope we both avoid the dreaded extended range fuel tank rattles.
Can anyone tell me where to see the production pictures when using the my.porsche site?
I woke up today to find that the mobile Porsche app finally updated to the new version. Lots more detail. Still missing that fourth final production picture.
Today there were 3 more months added to my delivery although I was told by the dealer it is on the ship. I dont know what to believe at this point.

If your dealer can tell you the name of this ship it is on, it's on that ship. They can't see what the ship assignment is until it's actually on board.

Great news! I hope my step 4 doesn’t get delayed like yours but we’ll see. I think part of the delay may have been because Germans get 2 days off for Good Friday and Easter and I can imagine some people may take extra time off around those holidays.
I hadn’t heard about issues with the larger fuel tank?
Not sure how to look at photos in TYD but hope Porsche uploads some for you soon.

Did you do the hack and see what boat you were on? Everyone seems to be getting very similar dates on their delays even though there are 2 boats that will be on the east coast well before these dates. Things just aren't making sense/
