I was suppose to go into production 6/3. Still no updates. CP8 is scheduled on 6/24 so I guess there is still the chance of being on time.
SA sent me an updated PVSM screenshot that showed the same. He also gave me an assigned VIN -- I presume the car is in production now even though TYD hasn't updated that info yet?

haven’t asked the dealer about VIN, but I assume it exists.

My C2 production required 3 days in late May. Spent considerably more time sitting on dock in Emden waiting for ship to arrive. I did experience a several days delay in TYD's reporting of the completion of these tasks - ship had already departed Emden and was west of Brittany by the time I was notified. My car was one that had the electric steering column adjuster deleted due to parts shortage.

Yes, but there is a backlog at Emden and the RoRo hauls all VW Group vehicles, not just Porsche. So, your car at Emden might not get loaded on the next RoRo heading to your US port. You should expect a 3-4 week delay between the time your car arrives at Emden and the time it is loaded on a RoRo.

I think “market value” on base through gts is going to start dropping if it hasn’t already… have a feeling dealers will be moving quickly through order demand lists with these economic trends. I think Msrp will increase for 2023 models and this will be new negotiating point. My 2 cents as I twiddle my thumbs waiting for my phone call….

Hey Folks - my car arrived at Emden on June 3 per TYD. The "On Vessel" date has remained June 10 and "Dealer Arrival Date" has remained June 24. Unless they're air freighting the thing, June 24 is not reality. I'm surprised none of the dates have changed since everything was accurate up to Emden arrival. There must be enough backlog and uncertainty as mentioned by other members as to RoRo arrival and available freight capacity to limit estimating new dates thus the dates remain as-is.
If 3-4 weeks is the typical time at Emden, you would think TYD would roll that factor into the future milestone dates.
Anyway, it will be here soon enough. And I agree, Oslo Blue is a great color choice. No wonder it's a popular PTS color.
