The delays begin, wishful thinking that i would stay on schedule. My production end date just got moved out by 3 weeks, URG! I happened to be in my dealership on Tuesday and my SA did warn me about some possible delays, he was unsure why, but he was seeing this with others. I have a very basic build no RAS, PASm etc,is A C2S Cab MT. I have waited 30 years to get my dream car, a few more weeks is not a big deal. It just tough to walk into my Porsche shrine garage and still see the empty space where my car will be.

Bummer! Where were you in the process when you received news of delay and did you find out via Track Your Dream? I am to be scheduled for production on 6/17 with build commencing 6/24 and finishing 7/1. Ultimate delivery to dealer is estimated 8/12. Mine is a base Cab.

My SA said he was seeing some delays, this AM my TYD went to the production phase and i noticed that the end date of completion changed- 3 weeks longer t .What is odd is that the start date did not change (today) just the end date, which in turn pushed the other dates out as well, shipping etc

Guess I might get an update a week from today. I do believe I have seen posts where production/delivery appear to be delayed but those delays subsequently get revised and shortened. Hopefully that will be the case with yours. Have you gotten the email about the electric steering credit of $500? I have not and am curious where in the process it might appear

Perhaps they are waiting for build to be complete to confirm car doesn’t have electronic steering adjustment? I,ve read where some cars come through w/electronic adjustment installed. By all accounts it seems kinda random as to cars with/without but the majority are without

I have encountered this repeatedly and just come in another way. When you get service unavailable message click on “index” in top right corner (3/4 horizontal lines). From there click on My Porsche and then Overview-should bring you in to working menu. Good luck.

Default Carmine Red C2 on RO-RO off Coast of Brittany

After sitting at Emdon dock for 10 days, the car was loaded on Seim Confucius and sailed on June 8. MarineTraffic.com shows the vessel west of Brittany coast.

No , unfortunately at all ! It could be , but having serial number does not mean anything.

As an example, this serial number came in, mid April. Since then , the production has been pushed to May, June, and now July ( hopefully). But of course it could be pushed again...

I was suppose to go into production 6/3. Still no updates. CP8 is scheduled on 6/24 so I guess there is still the chance of being on time.

SA sent me an updated PVSM screenshot that showed the same. He also gave me an assigned VIN -- I presume the car is in production now even though TYD hasn't updated that info yet?

My 911S went into production on June 1....How long is production typically? The estimate to US dealership is 27 days, but that seems optimistic to me.
