Slipped again - pushed out another week. Allocation PO confirmed 7/27, but don't think I am much closer than when the dealer first communicated my allocation! Kinda wish I had held on the 10% deposit right now as my lock date keeps moving also.

Original delivery was mid Nov - now late Dec. Was planning on Jan, but mentally shifting to Feb! Patience is the key.

My lock date hasn’t moved and my T should be landing the first week of January. I did add 18 way seats, otherwise it’s the same configuration that I started with. Have you been making changes? My salesperson says he has a customer that swaps colors every few days.

No changes since late July. Think its probably a few too many options and subsequent availability (or lack of) that is creating the rolling delay.

I made a change last Friday and all my dates were pushed back, but today everything went back to where it was previously. I called my sales guy and within his system nothing has changed. With all of that said I do not think TYD is all that accurate.

My Order for a Cabriolet 4S was confirmed on 7/24. I just passed my 9/19 Freeze Date and my delivery date is 11/14. My Freeze Date moved a few days but ultimately locked. I'll list the options on my build because they apparently didn't prevent the Freeze Date from occurring:

Schedule says Monday the 25th.
Actually it's schedule says 9-23 to 9-25, I guess it could leave earlier if load is completed. Maybe we will get lucky, should know one way or the other by Monday.

More bizarre news on my T. Production stared on 7/24 and I received pictures early August. I have TYD pictures (including assembly complete one) and a vin and production complete moved from 9/4 to 9/26. My salesperson reached out to me asking how I received a Vin and pictures as the car hasn't entered production yet.

So early October delivery is clearly out of the picture, maybe November-December now? Just odd.

For months, TYD showed my GT3 as being in production for ~2 months, as opposed to the normal 7 days. I got the VIN prior to entering production (I think we all do) and got all the production photos a few days after the car entered production.

Even after I got the assembly complete photo, TYD still showed it sitting around at the factory for 2 months. But that was just prior to the summer factory shutdown (similar to you). Then, just a few days after the factory shutdown ended, TYD updated and showed my car on its way to Emden, roughly 2 months earlier than scheduled.

My takeaway from that, and other's, experience is to largely distrust whatever TYD says. My SA has basically said he wishes Porsche would take it down because it's causing sales people no end of grief fielding concerned calls from customers as TYD shows them stuff that makes no sense at all.

I am hoping my car gets on that ship as well. My SA said my car was scheduled to leave today. My delivery date still says Oct 8th. I hope that is true. I am trying to schedule PPF and tinting based on that date
