I've had that happen within a week of arriving in port to dealer in the past but that is not always the case. Probably especially now.

They have to PDI it, clear customs and arrange trucking to the dealer. And that's assuming there's no parts missing and/or no damage incurred in transport to repair.

992 C4GTS order placed
Finally received a call from my SA today, after being on the wait list, since August of 2021. I was told to come in and place a factory order for my 992 C4GTS. Also, put down a 10% non-refundable deposit for the order. No going back now!
- Build date 06/2022

I thought I would quote myself on this one so people can get an idea of the timelines involved - I posted the above message on 9/16/2021 - I finally received a build sheet with a V200 status today! I had lost hope that this day would come, but here it is, almost 6 months to the day since I put in my order demand. I have a build sheet, I have an MSRP price on that build sheet, a V200 code and I have been told to expect the car in July. Now, I realize that July may not hold with everything going on in the world, and that's OK. So hold on to hope, my friends, it may take a while but I'm an example of someone with no dealer relationship, first Porsche and it finally came through!
