We are hoping that it is just going to be pushed back a month but I have nothing to actually say that for certain as of yet.
Well there’s not much more they can tell you. I don’t think they are being vague.

My GT3 just arrived in WA state after being unloaded from Glovis Sonic on Monday, quick turnaround at the port of Benicia.

That was quick, congrats. Mine is still in Benicia according to my dealer today, and only has to travel 90 miles to the dealer. Curious, has your TYD updated to in transit to dealer?

I’m assuming your dealer is same as mine, Porsche Monterey ? My sales also said still at port and not a specific time to arrive their place

Yes, it did update to "en route to dealer" this morning before arriving at the dealership.

I checked with my salesman, who had called me yesterday, and he knows nothing more. He explained the process. Though TYD says that my car is 23 miles away (from the dealer, I resume), and the dealer is an additional 5 miles or so south of where I live in San Rafael, having driven from San Rafael to Benicia twice, on Monday and Tuesday, I can attest that on the streets, it is 39 miles from me and probably 45 from the dealer. The salesman said that Porsche Atlanta is informed by the port clearing company and I am presuming this is Amports, the operator of the Port of Benicia, that the car is cleared for transport. Again, I'm presuming that this is reassurance that there is no significant damage sustained in transport, and that Porsche Atlanta should call in its surface autotransporter. The salesman could not give me the name of the usual carrier. The salesman had access to a list maintained on the internet by Porsche Atlanta, and there was no information on who was transferring the car, or when. It seems that the first they know of the car's arrival is when the transporter rolls up to the prep area which is in a former Audi showroom, about 2 miles away. Hell, I'm nutty enough to follow behind the transporter as it comes off hiway 37 in Novato and heads south on 101 to Mill Valley (Porsche Marin). My salesman is expecting 8 cars, and he has no idea how many other cars are coming to the dealership. TYD still has delivery listed as 3/25, updated from 4/1, but in this case, I trust the salesman.

We are the fortunate ones, what with the Felicity Ace, the war in Ukraine, the supply chain. This from Autoweek: "Last week, Porsche donated a million euros ($1.1 million), with three-quarters of the money going to the UN Refugee Agency assisting with humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and the other 25 percent to the Ferry Porsche Foundation, which will use the donation to help SOS Children's Villages and possibly other children’s charities. Porsche has also stopped delivering vehicles to Russia. In financial year 2021, the company delivered a total of 6262 vehicles to Russia, just a small portion of the 301,915 vehicles Porsche delivered around the world in 2021."

@tinkll1 Your contact should be able to check PVMS (the dealer's internal portal) for updates. In my case, my SA was able to tell me when the car started port processing, when it was through, and when it was loaded on a truck. He even called the dispatch to get a precise ETA for arrival at the dealership. The transport company was McCollister's (see picture below), it seems this is the one AMPORTS has been using recently.

@paxton Your SA sounds like he/she is on top of it. Not all SA's go that extra mile. May I ask who you're working with? Thanks and may the car bring many smiles.

@GTS992 Nick Leader @ Porsche Bellingham. Highly recommended, stellar experience and an MSRP only dealer, no ADM.

The real time updates are pretty impressive, even if only close to real time. I'm too cheap to pay for a subscription to the Maritime tracking site.
