The My Porsche App and website both state my car is “Ready for Production” but in TYD it went into Production last week and just today it says “In Transit to Emden Port”. Is it safe to assume TYD is accurate and MyPorsche is just wrong?
Where did people get the picture of their completed car? Was that in TYD or MyPorsche?
thanks

Great thoughts but sadly also not an option for me as she has no American credit history that would support BMWFS approving her. Just added her onto some cards to start generating a file, but it’s going to take a few months at least.
It’s all good - this just wasn’t in the cards for me, and I came to terms with that over the weekend. There’s now a white V8 F-Type I’ve got my eyes on, and at ~150k less than the Targa, I’d hope there’s no silly conditions around the F95 this time… 🙄 … then again, we are talking about Chase, so all bets are off. 🤪
I’ll go back to lurking for a while until my Gentian Blue 992.2 hopefully exists… and till then, enjoying all the wonderful pics of new rides being posted here! Cheers! 😊

Surprisingly, my TYD updated today (Sunday). Now it says on vessel date March 4 (was March 18 after getting pushed back a few times). I’ve been at Emden since Jan 17. Hoping it is getting on Siem Cicero, which is still in port at Emden. Mine is headed to Jacksonville. If anyone gets verification they are on Siem Cicero, please post!

Mine went from 03/18 to 03/04 port loading too. Dealership arrival from 04/22 to 04/08 both changed over the weekend (was 03/11, 03/25, then 03/11 for a second time). Car sitting at port since 01/25. My GTS is heading to Jacksonville too. I’m over being anxious but I’ll be happy to get this purchase wrapped up. This is my first TYD era purchase and personally I’m not a fan due to the ambiguity of the milestones regardless of causes. I work in a utility company maintenance project management role and can safely say this sort of changing milestones would have my job and reliable electric production in serious jeopardy.

agree that TYD has probably been more of a curse than a blessing. Now that I’m on a boat, I’ll just track the boat when it’s close enough to land to not have to pay for tracking, and then wait for the dealer to call me when it arrives. I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait, but TYD probably stressed me out more than anything else involved in this process. I like the production line pics though.

After a long wait and numerous changes in configuration it seems like my build is locked. According to TYD build is to be completed May 9th. I’ve opted for European delivery in Leipzig. Today I was offered a number of dates between July 5th and August 30th to pick up my dream car. I’m going to lock in that date in the next couple of days and start to plan my European driving adventures with my wife’s help! My car is a 911 C2GTS with the following build spec:
https://cc.porsche.com/icc/ccCall.do...bcode=Pnudcqw2
This is the end of a journey that began back In November of last year when I secured my allocation. I’m super excited.

The Glovis Sigma has departed Emden and the next two vessels set to arrive in Emden from Bremerhaven are the RCC America and the Glovis Condor. Has anybody been confirmed to be on the Sigma and does TYD send emails when you make it onto a vessel? My dealership only received 16 cars in Feb and are only set to receive 23 cars this month. It’s crazy!
edit:
My 992 is on the Glovis Sigma. My TYD updated within a couple of hours of the vessel’s departure.
