@SS22 I received an email this morning saying "Activate your 911 Carrera T (MY23)" though. I added the VIN long time ago to my My Porsche app but I just got the email saying that I should activate it with a proof of ownership. I wonder if that means it's at the dealership or if that email was sent just on a timer. Anyways my TYD has yet to reach Step 11.

I got that email 33 days before my car even made it to Baltimore (I got another one like it a week later, still 26 days before the car made it to the US). Just more evidence of what a dumpster fire TYD is. Porsche, are you out there? Can you really no do better than this?
I dug up an older post from alin2, his turn around between arriving at Baltimore to car being in transport was just a few business days. 7/5/23-7/7/23. Siem Confucius cars are at that same milestone right now 7/17/23-7/19/23. Lets hope for the same turn around! Fingers crossed.

My dealer has 6 cars that were on Confucius, so I need those Tradepoint Atlantic guys to find and PDI all 6.
I’m probably overthinking this and I should just stop refreshing TYD and wait like a normal person. But I can’t do that, this is way too exciting. I just noticed in myPorsche app that the connection status to the car is active. Again, probably isn’t anything…
Yes mine also came in last Tuesday and the dates for next steps were out of whack. My SA texted me Monday morning that the car was coming in that night and it did. What dealer? Mine is Paul Miller in NJ
Congrats! Im in MA. No update here, but my dealer is only 30 miles from the port, so its got to be customs/inspection related.

I received that email too for my GTS at 3:15 am PT. From my personal experience, this means the car is at the dealership. When I got my ‘22 Panamera 4SEH in Dec. ‘21, I got this same email the night after the car had arrived at the dealership. I even went back and found that email, it came 2 days before I picked up the car (and I could’ve even picked it up the day after). Given we know our cars were put on a truck yesterday or possibly even Monday, I’m confident the cars are at the dealership. If I don’t hear anything by mid morning, I’m gonna call the dealer.
ps I never put in the VIN in the app myself. The car just popped up in my account/app very soon after I ordered it so I assumed the dealership linked it to my account.
@Just J not sure why you had your experience getting the activation email so far in advance.

To top it off, those two *super* early "confirm ownership of your car" emails were the only two emails I had received from Porsche or TYD about TYD events. It wasn't until I deleted the car and re-added it that I started to get the regular "your car has reached a new milestone" emails. Like I said, dumpster fire.

That’s really bizarre. Are you sure they had the correct car in the system the first time? Something seems to have been way off

Same here, no emails at all from the app. I called them to make sure everything is ok with my account. They manually triggered “activate your car” so I’ve had that for a while now.

On my app it has never showed dates. Not at least until the milestones had been reached. Then it just shows the date of the milestone. Online is a different story.TYD online has always worked ever since I entered my order number in. The milestone dates have been pretty accurate also until recently when all the dates got changed to premile stone dates. Lol. It is pretty messed up. Still though I suspect once my car does get on a ship in the next half a century or so It will update TYD and tell me.

I think that’s how it’s supposed to be for the app to show only the milestone that has been reached and for the website to show all future dates too. Odd that the app doesn’t show future dates but I think that’s how it’s designed to be.
