My last car I didn't get pictures of it until it was updated to say the vehicle had arrived in Emden

What are the default tires that come with the car? My c4s is in stage 4 with delivery date of 11/11 and will be my daily driver. I live in Pennsylvania Philadelphia area and get snow about 5 times a year. On those days i can take my wife’s x7.

my question is: will c4s come with summer tires in middle of winter? Can i specify just all season tires like i have on x7? Or if i can’t specify and the car will have summer tires, should i buy winter tires to replace when it is here? If so, which winter tires?

thank you for the help.

You're getting summer tires

As far as I know, you get the lottery of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 3s, or Pirelli Pzero 4s

There is a N spec (Porsche approved / developed) Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 that your dealer can mount for you on delivery and you can save the summer tires for when it's warm or you can pick up a winter wheel and tire set and mount them soon after delivery

I don’t think all-seasons exist in the size the 992 needs. If you’re near a dealer or tire shop you trust to swap tires on your same wheels twice a year just buy the tires. If you’re like me and live farther from a dealer and don’t trust tire shops to keep the wheels nice, buy a whole second set. I found a pristine used set from Germany on eBay for cheaper than I could buy them from Porsche.

These are the alpin 5 winter tires that i can find on tire rack. These are for 2022 model year c4s. Are these the right sizes for 2023 model year too?

Yeah, perfect. Might be a little cheaper at Costco when they do their sale on Michelin tires (they alternate sales between Bridgestone and Michelin)

If you’re interested, I have a set of Carrera S wheels with Michelin Alpin 5’s for my 992 C4S that I won’t be able to use when my GTS arrives because it will have center locks. Getting a second set is a whole lot easier and better for the tires than changing the tires every season. The tires have no more than 2k miles on them.

Discount Tire/America’s Tire always beats $ Costco and their crews are better trained. I managed tire shops for the majors in my 20’s.
