Happened to me when my car was en route to Emden. TYD updated my 911 was at the dealer. For the next month I got no updates from TYD, and PCNA had no idea where the car was. My SA after a while said the car was missing a part. Finally after 4 weeks, TYD updated that my 911 was in Emden. It then sat for another month until I made it onto the RCC Prestige.

Aaaargh! I have be “in production” since 2/14 (originally 2/4) with a completion date of 2/25 (originally 2/11) and a 4/8 delivery date (originally 3/25). Last night I got bumped to 3/15 completion and 4/29 delivery. I understand the delivery date getting pushed out, but I would have assumed it is a pretty fixed period of time from start of build to completion - and that they wouldn’t start without all the necessary parts. That would make it over a month in the build process.

Hi, Hopefully someone can help me calm down.

I placed an order for a Targa4S in Chicago in July with a deposit and a signed contract at MSRP

I was informed last month that I am now next in line for an allocation.

I am so worried about the next steps going smoothly.

Does anyone think I should be worried about my contract at MSRP when I hear that others are offering ADM'S?

Will the dealer skip me for those offering an ADM?

Am I naive to think that I will receive an allocation soon at the agreed upon price and the car will arrive within 6 monrhs?

I doubt your dealer would have called you unless he was willing to honor your deal. Why call you at all?, he could just skip over you and choose the highest bidder.

Sadly, my eagerly awaited Targa 4S will not be coming home to me, so I suppose that closes this chapter for me for now... Putting this out there for anyone else who may be after one already on the ground.

Today my car dealer was able to give me the VIN number of my 911. But on his software , there s no update about « actual date » since the v250.
If I have the VIN already , does that mean the v300 has been reached?

You don’t have the TYD app? The VIN# is assigned once your vehicle begins production.

in Canada we have myporsche which has almost the same features as TYD.
now it shows
2. Your vehicle is now scheduled for production.
it shows no VIN however only my car dealer recently got the VIN.
so I was wondering if having the VIN automatically means that the v300 has been completed
