my dealer thinks they transported the cars to Hamburg and that triggered TYD update for Atlantic sun showing on vessel. The actual on vessel date will be once the sun has been loaded in Hamburg and sails for Baltimore.

I'm in the same situation where my dealer told me my car was on the Atlantic Sun even before ship was at the dock. I wonder how these cars ended up in Hamburg?

They have a short-term shipping problem. Two issues: loss of Felicity Ace takes a RoRo out of logistics when they already had a vehicle back up at Embden. I expect them to move more vehicles around to other ports for quicker transport because of these issues. The slow down in some production because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine will probably correct these issues in the long term. If it were my car, I would be pleased my car is on any ship leaving Europe…… which is a good sign for delivery in US in 20-30 days.

I confirmed the arrival time by calling the San Francisco pilot company that will be meeting the ship and they confirmed that the pilot will go aboard at about 11:30 PM tonight, with the ship docking at 2:30 AM. I communicated with a member of the docking crew who is an FB group member. Possibly a 7-11 is open at 2 AM. Nothing else is. As I deposited on my car in September 2018, and delayed European delivery, finally giving up, last November, and as I'm 86 and realistically expect that this will be my last (10th) Porsche, I'm going to pack my wife into our Tesla Model S Plaid at 1 AM, if she doesn't have me committed before then, and watch the ship come in.
The FMD app says delivery is 4/1/2022. That sounds like an April Fools prediction. The Tesla will learn to live in the driveway.

The tracking had the ship 213 mile away, off San Luis Obispo, raising some questions, when I checked about 2 PM PST. My plan was to try to to find another Porsche enthusiast or two, who might want to have a drink as the ship came in. Benicia has about 28,000 inhabitants, and about a third of them belong to the Facebook group: "The Benicians." I've been communicating with 40 of their number to find a good vista and bar or restaurant in which to toast the safe arrival of my car.... particularly after the Felicity Ace. The ship is early. My plan for a drink and a meal won't happen. The community seems to be extremely nice and helpful.

Please share a few pictures of the boat if you happen to snap some. My final destination is Bellingham (90 miles north of Seattle). Hopefully the port processing happens quickly and my GT3 gets on a truck sooner than later. My TYD also shows a 4/1 delivery date, I'm thinking I might see the car 2 weeks early.
