I just received a reply to my e mail from Porsche North America. This was in response to inquiring about what was going on with delivery for CARB States. Their response was,” they were sorry if I had been given the wrong information but that the official sales date was Sept 20th”. Furthermore they said there have been no delays. Not sure why they would say that. Obviously this makes no sense as my Car, like others, has been sitting at the Docks in Emden and San Diego for 4 months. Unless CARB is approved( I guess it could happen) tomorrow I don’t think I’m seeing the Car on the 20th. My dealer said yesterday he was planning to have the Car ready for pickup on Oct 3rd but could not guarantee that date. I thought it was interesting that Porsche said they have not had a delay. If I had not been given delivery dates in June,July etc then I would accept what they said. Anyway hopefully the Cars are coming to CARB States in the next few weeks.

I just received reply from PNA and I quote: "Cara are not delayed but not yet released for sale". (same script that ST Bernard received). Estimated sale date 9/20.
Waiting 4 months with cars on dock is not a delay? Really. Cars will go on sale and dealer won't have any.
Can't believe we will not get our cars until October.
Can't wait to order another Porsche.

Bellow is the letter I received this AM from PCNA when asking about CARB certification status. As with St Bernard and Yamurc, no answers. Instead they too are evasive on "street date," and put actual delivery date on their dealers (as if they knew or had control over Porsche's mess with CARB certification)! As with many of you, my delivery date has been moved now four times now (assuming Sep 20 again won't work), with no end in sight. You would have thought that Porsche would come clean with information - they've had months and months to address any regulatory constraints - and offer some financial "good will" to soften the frustration this has caused to the hundreds of loyalist with pre-sold cars that have been stuck at port for more than a month now.

The Wall Street Journal published a related article on 9/5:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-a...es-11567723576
Coincidentally (hopefully), the last CARB update was on 9/6. I hope CA doesn't turn this into a political battle and drag their feet with pending certifications in retaliation.
