Have and allocation for a C2S. Traded my '17 C2S in May. My initial lock date was 8/13. Last month it went to 9/24 and last week the lock date went to 9/4. My SA believes it will continue to get closer to my original 8/13 lock date and early October delivery. We'll see. I am hoping for the early October delivery. My weekly status check is tomorrow. Gurards Red with Sport Tex interior.

We ordered our C2S in June. Production was on 7/22. We're planning delivery in Stuttgart on September 10, and driving through Switzerland, the French Alps and . . .?
We have a VIN already. This is the config code: PNRK5VG0

I have about a month before "freeze" date and love playing with my configuration. Here it is is anyone wants to see my progress. PNAZZFJ1
I have one question that has been bugging me. "Remote Park Assist". This mentions that it lets you remotely park the vehicle using your mobile device. What I want to know is if you do not get this option, does the car still do the "self parking" when you are still in the car? The spec on the car (https://www.porsche.com/usa/models/9...era-cabriolet/) mentions Parking Assist, but does not define it. So it could be just the beeping sound when you are close to an object. I certainly know how to park a car, but want to know what I am getting. MB and BMW have had the "self park" for years. I know it is available from Porsche, just do not know if you have to order the "remote park assist" to get even the version that works while you are in the vehicle.
This page makes it sound like Park Assist is just the beeping when close to an object. Yes, I know this is a Panamera page.

FT1: Remote ParkAssist incl. Lane Change Assist and 3D Surround View) option is needed for both mobile app and in car automated parking. I have this on my order and the tipping point for me was the rear cross traffic warning feature which is included in this option.

Finally able to leave this thread! Picked up the car yesterday. Approximately 4 months wait from placing a deposit on an allocation. Good luck to those still waiting, it is worth the wait!

I honestly prefer the look and design of the smaller wheels vs. the larger options that are available. The added bonus to me is that they are going to be a little more comfortable and be less susceptible to damage from road impacts.
