Man, my "journey" has been a roller coaster. Most recently, when I completed the production date schedule milestone the production date I got was 7.30 with completion of 8.27. This was later than the 7.23 start and 7.30 initially estimated.
That bummed me out because of not only obvious reasons,, but delivery to Atlanta PEC would have been 9.10 which has a lot of timing advantages than 10.10 with my work schedule...WELL! I checked TYD just now and to my surprise the car started production on 7.26 and completed today! It's currently in Ready for transport. No email, and no pic yet. But I'm back to 9.12 delivery estimate to Atlanta PEC.
I think you're mixing apples and oranges. When you note that you "ordered" a Targa 4s, that can't be an actual in-hand allocation with a V200 status. There's no 12-18 month time frame from verified order to delivery. Could you kindly verify whether you have an allocation, build sheet, and a TYD invite? Or is it the dealer telling you that you're on a waiting list for an allocation and that the wait will be in the range you note? Those are two entirely different things.

ugh.. yeah my dealer requires ceramic coating. I was pretty pissed about it. I mean I am interested in the coating but at $500 more than most places around here, I would have put up a fight.. if it weren't for the fact that it was the only allocation available for months from any of the 7 places I called. So I sucked it up.
= ADP (additional dealer profit). I've been told the dealership requires the coating and interior protection @ $600...
WTH, I'm buying the car? Because they can...

One week anniversary today from bringing my baby home. My first 911 and first time driving as well! Blown away and the exceeds all expectations. Couple thoughts for anyone on the fence with their build specs. So happy I went with the sports package. Could not imagine driving without it. I am in sports mode nearly 100% of the time and always have sports exhaust on. Such a difference in the driving experience. Love the sound and pops I get when downshifting on the paddle shifters. I really like the look of the quad exhaust so going with sports package was something I did before my lock date and so happy I did. I am also very happy with the metal sunroof. People who I have showed the car to are surprised from the exterior it’s a sunroof until I open it. I did not want the black glass top for aesthetic reasons. But Using more than I expected—though this is not my daily driver so it’s more joy rides than anything. Also I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the standard audio system. Some weak mid range sound but plenty loud even with windows down and driving. Car is at 81dbs in cabin while driving at about 55mph with no stereo on. Can have a conversation with my wife with no problem. Not as loud in the cabin as I thought would be from some YouTube videos. First wash and wax today. Good luck everyone!

is that the Mohave beige interior? If so, mind sending me a couple interior shots showing off more of it? That's what I ordered with gentian blue. Looks great from the few pics I've seen. Would love a few more wider shots to stare at while wait.

So put a deposit down on a C4 GTS Cab 2 weeks ago here in the UK. Replacing a C2S Cab.
Expecting a freeze date in January with delivery early Spring but who knows what delivery will actually be like
Spec is probably this : PNSE5XA5 slightly undecided on the seat belts but everything else I'm happy with
Solid build. Wheels and color choices go well together. I would buy that used from someone if in the market. That’s the first seat belt color option I have seen that actually looks good to me outside of the standard color.
