Skaf, we must have the same build slot. My car locks around June 26. Build is scheduled for July 19 and exits production July 26.
Tomorrow I'm making some changes since I'm still in V-200. I'll
post if my build date changes. Fingers crossed.

My build:

This will be my first Porsche, always wanted one and now it'll finally happen.
My freeze date is in a couple of days and I made the final changes yesterday. I inquired about a few of the recently added configurator options, the aluminum shifter and the mirror base in high gloss black and my SA told me that it'd push back the build date by two months or so so I opted to not go for them.

My freeze date was June 20, and I enter production July 19, and exit July 26 also.

I made a few changes to my build last month and put me from July 4 to July 19 production.
Saturday I was still V-200 so I'm adding Brushed Aluminum Trim and Illuminated Brushed Aluminum Door-Sill Guards.
I'm curious AND concerned where it will place my build date after the changes...

Perfect, as I want to get my car during April/May of 2020. I assume the manual transmission will be available as an option soon to spec out. I have mine speced but with PDK so will have to wait till I actually place my order.

Are you going for C2 or C2S? Nice discount btw

Woo hoo! PLIDZ5J8
Mine locked on 28/6 and should be here by September.
First changes will be Brembo brake pads (less dust), 3M carbon roof wrap (my car my rules!) and the Porsche side stripe in black/red.
Can’t wait

Just received this update from Porsche NA..."At this time, we currently estimate the 2020 911 Carrera and Carrera S models to be released and available for sale on September 27, 2019". It keeps getting pushed further out. Hopefully I will take delivery prior to the winter.

This was an email received from a Customer Experience Specialist that I have been communicating with for several weeks. I am not sure what models he was referring to. It only stated what I notated.

more dates
Another, yet another date for release and availability for sale of the 992. How many has there been? My dealer always says "maybe sooner".
The "event Key" page the dealer gets has 3 columns: Planned Date, expected date, and actual date. Surely an example of Germanic precision.
We never receive any dates from Porsche NA. We rely on the Rennlist.
Did I make a mistake? Why can't Porsche make a commitment? I made a commitment (with money).
There are 2000 completed NA cars.
Are there quality and/or EPA/CARB issues?
