Oh man, I was hoping my car would be on the Goodwood arriving in Jacksonville on November 14. Hopefully they can still get her on it. But, the good news is my TYD is working again.

pardon. Y ignorance as I just placed an order last week. How do you go about finding all this info? Is there a website where you track the build and delivery? If so, how do you sign up for it?

You are supposed to get an email inviting you to a website where you can track your car. Mine worked for a few days then it didn't work for weeks and once it arrive at port it started working again.

So in everyone’s experience. Is the date TYD gives before the “freeze point” accurate? Mine says Jan 15 but I hear speculation that it may be in sooner. Is this wishful thinking?

I looked at Track your Dream daily. When I was a month until lock, it moved up 2 weeks overnight. My new lock was last week and I made changes until the day before.

I don’t know if my lock date moved (although I wish it would... I don’t intend on making changes) but what about delivery date? Is that accurate? Or is it an under-promise and over-deliver situation?

The other dates also moved up 1-3 weeks at the same time, but I think they are just estimates as the dates for start of production, finished production, and ready for transport are all the same. Port arrival and dealership delivery are also the same date, though 2 weeks earlier than original.

yes…his comment (which makes sense to me) was that each car is different - my car had an estimate of 3 weeks
however based on options selected the times can vary — I’ll soon pass the 4 week mark on the timeline - He will
run another screen soon - but obviously the sooner the vehicle arrives the sooner the dealer gets paid — Porsche NA
never offers much more clarity to what’s going on....maybe I’m getting the wrong rep on the phone - I’ve tried 3 times to have
them help me with TrackYourDream but no luck

Could someone tell me what the average days the TYD link email was received by you after the order was put in? Really appreciate your input here!

I got mine the day I received the allocation. My SA has been selling since ‘82. He explained that he puts my order in The system and there is another process that he enters me that tells PCNA that the car they are making is for me with my contact info. He went on to explain most SA don’t fill out the internal form to communicate with PCNA, so that could be why so many do not get the TYD info.

i received my email the day I received an allocation and it has given pretty good info so far.
