Do a google maps satellite of Emden, and zoom in on the cars. It's amazing how many vehicles go thru that port (2017: 1.2m vehicles)

Every year, about 800 ships, 140,000 railcars and 40,000 trucks come to the estuary of the Ems to deliver or collect vehicles.

Default Hurry please...

Placed order on August 20th. Can’t wait! My first Porsche after several BMWs. The dizzying customization/options process is definitely fun, makes it feel so personal. Went back and forth...so many gorgeous combinations, but this is what I finally decided on....

TYD shows my car on the Bishu Highway and a at dealer date of November 6. I’d love to have the car then but I wonder how this will play out with all the cars currently sitting at port waiting for delivery.

Hello everyone! Newcomer here. Ordered my first 911 Base model on 10/15 at my local dealer. SA told me he had an allocation and put the order in with my build code. The car is expected to come in at the end of December and scheduled a delivery date on 1/2/2021. However I still haven't got the "Track Your Dream" link email from Porsche NA so far. Could someone tell me what the average days the TYD link email was received by you after the order was put in? Really appreciate your input here!

I have a similar story to yours except I got the TYD email with a link, but it says, "Service Unavailable". Kinda frustrating for the amount of money I spent on this car.

@Wilsontour @tfcoll The TYD email comes weeks later from Porsche. Others will chime in on this. Mine is not a good measuring bar as it came 5 months later. My order was placed 2 weeks before Covid chaos peaked back in March 2020 and I got the TYD email in July 2020. I can write a book, car was supposed to be a 2020 then order rolled over into 2021 MY due to the delay and mainly the Cxx options on the build which were on 'pending' status. I would say don't hold your breath on the TYD email, its a cool feature to have, but I have also heard stories where the email arrives and the car is already on the water. Post your builds as well. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply! So you got the email link right after your order was put in? I know "Service Unavailable" is not what you expected, however you have got the key now, better than my situation, LOL.

I was told to expect TYD link a week or so before V260 or production begin date.

PS, my estimated Baltimore entry date is 1/1 and my car locks 10/30 with production start 11/13...so I'd hope for TYD around 11/6...these dates should be similar to yours based on delivery estimate if your car is getting off ship Baltimore.

Thanks very much for your reply! Guess we are on the same boat now. I will try to be patient from now on.

I got my email a couple of days afterward and it actually worked then gave me "Service Unavailable" message. The last time I was able to see data was approximately 9/17/20

Great Information, thanks! I am at Saint Louis, and hopefully it would go through the same route as your car does.

Called the dealer, SA was on holiday so got the sales manager “your wife’s macan turbo is due at the end of November, your C4S is due late December in the UK so you’ll avoid any WTO extra tax, should be ready for delivery about the 30th December”

Well, that’s my birthday, so happy birthday to me!

Also, “your wife’s disco sport, we’ll give you above market for it, very desirable. Your 5yr old M5, we will also give you £2k above market on that... very very desirable!”

win win!

Very nice build which I know all too well: Dolomite/Bordeaux Red is my same color combo with some extra goodies and 3 pedals.

That Sir, is your biggest win. Wife getting car before you. Ask me how I know.

What is a disco sport if you don't mind me asking?
