Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Hey Dudes.
Ugh I have a 992 GTS that was due 9/30 for dealer arrival and now it just got pushed to Mid-oct. Its in Emden port but not on a ship yet.
Any way I can get more details on what's going on? Like any way I can tell which ship it will be on?
The dealership is pretty useless.

You can find an Emden shipping schedule and approximate what ship you’ll be on. But you won’t know for certain until TYD updates when the ship leaves Emden.
Check https://rennlist.com/forums/992-gt3-...en-usa-93.html for the latest shipping schedules.
The dealership essentially just sees the same milestones and dates you do on TYD, at least until the vehicle gets to the destination port.

Mine says its gonna be on the Roro. Is that an actual ship or do I kinda eyeball which ships are coming in and try to guess which one it is on?
Look for ships that arrive in your destination port within a few days of the date TYD shows your car arrives in port.
How to estimate delivery date?
My GTS has an original production start date in late July of 22' with a corresponding delivery time in October. July date was bumped to an August date (was suspicious that any cars would be produced in August). So now the production start date is Sept. 16. Assuming that holds, do you learned forums members think there's enough time to get it to the dealer in Connecticut (arrives in RI port) before 2023? These interest rate hikes are putting a haze on my Porsche dream LOL.
Thanks.

Here's my timeline. Car entered production on 5/11. Finished on 8/11. Yes, 3 months. Got to Emden on 8/15. On a ship on 8/17. Arrived in Davisville on 8/30. Got it's Monroney on 9/2, and arrived at my dealer in CT yesterday, 9/8. Still a ways away from taking delivery as PPF and ceramic await. Hope that helps you.
Hopefully Atlantic hurricanes won't create shipping delays.
Pick up in Leipzig on 5 October: ‘22 S2 Cab Manual. Looking forward to the track time and 3 weeks in Germany, Czechia (Prague), and Austria (Salzburg). Planning on doing the Grossglockner pass.

Anyone with Q4 orders just see your date pushed out 30 days? Both my freeze and delivery dates went out 3-4 weeks. Not complaining but curious if others got pushed too.
