Anyone else getting held up in Baltimore?
My car arrived in port 2 weeks ago. My dealership is only about 75 min away from the port and my prior car was released and at the dealership within 2-3 days.
This time, its been sitting for 2 weeks with no movement. SM says no errors or blocks. But geesh. 10 working days with no movement after being offloaded seems crazy to me.

So I got word today that my car has arrived at my dealership. It was on the SFL Conductor and dropped off at Davisville. Almost time for my jailbreak!

The Amethyst Ace seems to be circling south of Rhode Island off Long Island right now, perhaps waiting for something to clear before it can dock.
From having toured the BMW VDC twice and listening to that way they said it works, I really believe that delays from the US port to the dealers has to do with the truck transport "bundling" of multiple cars to a particular dealership. I don't think Porsche is doing individual enclosed delivery of every 911, the costs would be insane. Maybe some unique GT cars get special treatment. They wait until a full compliment of cars (whatever the carrier truck can hold, enclosed or otherwise) to that particular dealer is ready at the port, and then they send the truck for them all. Of course the "damage at the port" issue is always possible, but is statistically rare.

Congrats; almost there! Mine was on SFL Conductor and should be en route to dealer now. Dealer says they need several days to prep, including receiving title, before delivery. Was hoping for faster turnaround.

great news!
I don’t think last in first out is true!
I am not seeing anyone who got to the port recently (last 5 days) get there car on this most recent boat.
My car got there 5/29 so it probably missed the boat. No notifications for me even checked TYD. Hope there’s another Baltimore boat that leaves soon :-)

Did the Siem Cicero unload in Baltimore yet? It was supposed to get there on 5/28. My bet is that the dealer has additional cars on that, and didn't send a special (partially loaded) truck to the port to get just your car, waiting instead for this next ship to bundle more cars on one truck delivery.

Does anyone have insight into how many days it can take a car carrier to get from Port Jacksonville to the dealer? My SA called me this morning and said my 911 was on a carrier headed to the dealer but depending on how many stops it needs to make, delivery could be 1-3 days away. That seems like an extreme amount of time to deliver a car the last mile. So I’m curious how many cars these car carriers can fit, and how many stops they typically make.

It seems everything is going faster , my car ETA now moved to 6/18 , originally 7/3
today I noticed for the first time that the pic of the ship/car actually gets updated
not sure how accurate is the location of the ship on the map or just an automatic slide on the map by the system
I never noticed that on previous 911 orders
