I don't know how the logistics may work. Seems more likely it would be two separate trucks. Would be fun to track the truck, but I am not aware of that being possible.

All depends on how many cars are slated for delivery but chances are there are quite a few. I plan on flying out to check it out and then ship it back to VA. Already have my plane ticket for the 20th so we will see if it works out.

I'm not following. Are you taking delivery on the coast, or in Chicago? My dealer told me it will not be an option to take delivery at the Atlanta performance center, as that would somehow delay my delivery further. I was not certain how exactly, but he made it apparent that if I insisted they would give the allocation to someone else. I am uncertain why it mattered to them.

Car is being delivered to dealership in Chicago as that’s where I purchased it. Then I’m shipping back to VA but want to inspect it before I put it in a truck back to VA.

Ok, got it - you had to purchase from Westmont, presumably because that's where you got your deal / allocation. That's quite elaborate. Good luck. I guess I was lucky enough to have success at the dealership that is ~3min drive from my house.

Yes, decided to grab a last minute allocation on a .1 and none of the locals/regionals had any available. Enclosed shipping wasn’t a big deal in the overall scheme of things but would have certainly purchased locally if I could have.

Made it to Emden 6/11! If I'm lucky might make it on to outbound Wolfsburg on 6/15 headed to Baltimore. Anyone else at Emden?

And yet TYD is still showing the boat is still making its way to Baltimore so you can never go by what it says. Hopefully will be delivered to dealer late this week or early next. Always exciting times.

What does your TYD say for milestone 8?

My milestone 8 is a range 6/15 - 7/5 which could mean I can get on one of these Baltimore bound boats SFL Conductor or Siem Cicero if I miss the Wolfsburg this week.

I'm hoping no hiccups getting on.

I think that’s pretty spot on…… I special ordered a C7 in 16 and they didn’t even have that…. Or I didn’t know how to access (which I would doubt)

shout out to everyone who is sharing ship info! That was a fun part of the journey, I used MarineTraffic app and it was updated within minutes with exception of mid journey where I suspect the ship was out of range.
