I wanted to share some exciting news: I took delivery of my 911T 7MT over the weekend and will be graduating from this thread. I very much appreciate everyone's help and support that made the wait a lot more enjoyable.

I've only had one evening with the car so far, but I absolutely love it. My 3-year-old and 5-year-old kids had ear-to-ear smiles riding in the back – the auto blip and light sound insulation make driving at 40mph feel like you're going twice the speed.

A special thanks to the team at Porsche West Broward for the excellent experience from order to delivery.

Mine was on SFL Conductor that was a day or so before Lake Taupo at JAX…customs and transport to South Florida took a bit over a week. Was also told that JAX is backed up so transport took a bit longer than expected (customs were quick, two days or so).

The Base is a good choice for the 992.2, get some of the improvements and styling changes, while staying away from the complex hybrid drivetrain for now.

Logged in to the Porsche app this evening for a pleasant surprise, esp since it said it was 900 mi away yesterday off the coast of FL! 😂

What dates are you showing for steps 6 and on?

My car has been stuck in Emden since 1/17/2024 due to the chip issue. Has anyone else been stuck for that long? If so, what’s your estimated delivery date?

Hey @Dezeinstein , no updates on the app or website for me just yet, but i'm betting everyone will get notifications for Phase 9 tomorrow. Wild Rose Leader left Benicia today and looks to be heading to China next.

Black Rac-tex interior with purple stitching I think would suit the car. Also, ceramic brakes on a GTS is not needed in my opinion.

Hi bz_911, was your car on the Siem Cicero that docked in Freeport, TX on 6/6/24? If so, then your car only took 2 days to clear customs? I am waiting for the update from the TYD app that my car is in transit to the dealership.

Something is wrong. I'm not sure on the typical route for these ships into Baltimore, but Siem Confucius seems to be hanging out off the coast of Va Beach with no progress all day. I was expecting it to go through Delaware Bay yesterday to get to Baltimore.

Did the same with my last delivery. Looked it it was stuck off in the Chesapeake Bay w/ no movement around VB. Two days later it was at the dealership. The TYD is always off and not sure why it states its going through DE but it should be docking soon.
