Also had 2RS, used it as road tour car, power apply is hilarious, not a great track car out of the box, mine was completely standard. More power than grip, lots of sideways. 992 3RS is a huge step up in chassis and aero from any of the 991 RS’s. Sounds odd, but it does crave for more power. I also prefer NA engines, Porsche please bump it to ~600, please

From what powerplant? The 4.0 is maxed, and if it's not they might be able to squeeze it to that ~535bhp figure, and that won't be enough to differentiate it from the 992.1...they can't really do much more with aero for a street car with "only" 525bhp. There's already no frunk. Writing is on the wall they have to go power adder to gap it from the .1 or it's gonna be an underwhelming facelift...and I can't see Porsche accepting that

I'll just leave it here. At Rennsport speaking to a very high up Manthey guy....he seemed to strongly intimate that 992.2 GT might have GT3RS/2RS merge into one product line. Hence this would make 992.1 the last NA GT3RS. I was surprised and kept pressing and he reiterated. Take it for what it's worth but he certainly would be in the know.

Can they punch out the current motor to 4.25 or 4.5? Deman does it on the 9A1 but not sure about this motor. That was my plan if my RS motor pops at some point, would be nice to have a bit more torque.

According to AP during 992.1 RS release, they can't do it and meet emissions, but I think he's sandbagging
