Delay???
Had my 3RS start building June 25th with July 3rd completion, got a couple pics on the app, then on the 4th it jumped to sept 6 completion. This is kinda weird 2 month delay after the build was started. Anyone have insight?

I'm in very similar situation as you. Started mid June, got my paint photos, originally scheduled for completion in July, but now going all the way to September completion.
@cosmos said a lot of workers booked their holidays in July which is delaying things further. Combined with the usual August factory shutdown, sounds like our cars are going to be sitting idle until September.

They just stop. I believe this summer break plan was to continue building with an exception from the party, but doesn’t appear to be the case.

Very interesting that they would stop a whole line for two months, and keep cars partially completed that were scheduled for completion for 2024 models, now are going to be completed in the 2025 cycle as 2024 VINs. I guess we are lucky that we didn't get cancelled. I still have two months for delivery to dealer after also, so I am definitely won't be driving it till next spring.

it’s stuck on v280/290 (CT assembly )until September

GT3 RS
My RS went into production June 4 with a June 18 finish date then halfway through it jump to July 23 and has been stuck there. I received no bodywork or paint photos yet but mines a PTS. I’m not sure if that matters but it seems like a few people have been getting photos in June with later production start dates than mine.

Well, my relationship started with them in 2017 when I did a 2-for-1 car transaction. Ever since then I've been buying non-GT cars (Cayennes, Macans, and Taycans) from them every 18 months or so since I put about 25k miles a year on those cars hustlin homes. I also trade back all of the GT cars that I have bought from them (I'd get MSRP or a little more for them) and I fly over there every time a GT car comes in and enjoy some delicious Texas BBQ with them as my way of saying thank you since I am an out-of-town customer. I'm also a low maintenance customer who puts in his build and doesn't change it once it's in. I've been loyal to them and they've taken care of me, including getting me PTS whenever possible, like a true mutually beneficial business relationship should be. I'm by no means a top customer over there but I'm very fortunate that I get taken care of for my Porsche addiction to say the least.
I've come to really like my 992 GT3, and am now open to getting a 992 GT3 RS if I can get an MSRP allocation. I don't 'need' the 3RS or even have a strong want for it, but at MSRP I think it wouldn't make sense not to buy it.
