Ok so here’s a silly question: for those of us getting S/T without Heritage Package, will we get the newly styled Porsche badges as these are MY 2024s? Videos seem to show otherwise, but was just thinking about this for some reason. Thanks
The videos are tough to trust. Most of the pre-series cars sent to the journalists are a weird mix of available parts. I would only trust the Black and Shore Blue cars shown in the studio tour videos are true production specs.
As far as I can tell, the historic crest is only included in the Heritage Package.
Anyone in the US going to try to source a CF roll cage? I'm interested only because I do track my cars and use a HANS device with 6 point everytime. I had an OEM titanium setup in my 991.2 Touring and took that to the track. It'd be nice if it's not a 30k part... or it'd be nice if they made an OEM titanium cage. BTW, while I know this is a driver's car and not meant for the track... I go to track because going over 100mph in California is asking for serious trouble and I'd like to hear the 9k engine in more than 2 gears on this car. Also I find it's just fun to really get to go all out with any car (I tracked my M5 comp) just to see what it can do at the limit in a more controlled environment.
Me, I have a PTS + color, but TBH, I don’t think it fits the character of the S/T and will probably not use it.
I was heavily influenced not to pursue PTS plus due to schedule constraints, and 50K sounds crazy for a color which I wanted red. I would consider it further if it was super special tri-coat like Ferrari/Lambo does.
Tell ya rep to ask to put ya on the cancel list. **** someone could drop out etc. I believe the 918 crew loaded up on max CXX options. I know of a Irish green PTS completely redoing the heritage guts is a lighter tan. Crazy but that’s what he wants. Prob 40k min 🤦🏼♂️
