This thread ls hilarious its actually created conversation on weight savings for headlights on a street car. Lol
Guys just option with only a drivers seat, no insulation, no glove box, decatted and no mufflers, and make sure you don't eat.

Guys talking about which headlights weigh less on a non track focused car when they could lose 10lbs of body weight with a quick 24hour shift in diet and taking a healthy sh*t that morning

Welp, it looks like I celebrated too quickly.
The owner of my dealership just told the manager that he is keeping the car for himself, so there goes my allocation. It’s a little surprising because I have the SC that they gave me at sticker that they were going to get back at sticker which for them would be a highly profitable transaction, but there you have it. It’s a little disappointing because I thought it was a done deal, but I don't really get that fussed when things like this happen.
The silver lining in the whole thing is that the manager who is a good friend of mine and a man of integrity, knowing that he wasn’t able to keep his word to me, has freed me up to do what I wish with the Sport Classic. So I can sell it and use the money to pay the ADM on an ST or maybe I can find another dealer who’s willing to trade keys at msrp. I haven’t kept track of the SC market but I’m assuming it’s effectively a $200+ ADM for them.
Or, and this is also very possible, as I noted before I love my SC to bits and was always torn on whether I wanted to trade it for an ST or just keep it and add a 992.2 Touring when it comes out and be happier with owning an SC/GT3T combination rather than just the ST … so maybe this is the universe telling me to keep the SC.
I guess I’ll investigate to see if I can even find a dealer that still has an ST available who would take the SC for it … it might not even be an available option to me at this stage.

Sorry to hear that Soulsea, but nice to see you taking it in stride and possibly as a sign to keep the SC. Not sure many of us would accept that news with such grace
