It will be the opposite. They moved to new location and have their grand opening next week. I'm going to eat everything I possibly can, to remind them who the customer is.

Is there a thread with pics of 992 GT3 cars? Need to work on build, and configurator doesn't always depict well.

FWIW, dealer tells me that my allocation was a bonus allocation, and they only got one.

Good guy dealers get bonus allocations from their regional reps from what my GM told me. They know which ones are the good dealers and which ones are the naughty ones.

No, I have to disagree there as bonus allocations are for reaching sales goals, and being naughty is immaterial.

Yes of course sales goals have to be met but the good guy dealers get priority on getting more bonus allocations.

I’m happy you got an allocation - looking forward to seeing your spec. I won’t lie - I’m even happier we don’t need to hear you justify your TTS purchase anymore haha

May keep both TTS cars. Ideally, need to compare 992 TTS back to back with a 992 GT3 on both road and track before I take delivery of the GT3.

991 and 992 TTS are both really great cars and I don’t regret buying them. Myth is that they’re boring, but I find them to be fun driver’s cars.

Hahahahhaaaaa!

Yeah right. His Touring barely has 2,000 miles on it after a year.
He's a "Cars and Coffee" guy. My bad. Make that "Cars & BBQ"

That's the new Porsche ADM.

The worst part is when you get all of these people parroting there are no more allocations, and that their "guy" is so reputable and that they know more than others on here since January of this year claiming they have real reliable information. That is what has made this forum different from any other car forum the constant misinformation for anyone new to the brand.

Me go to Cars and Coffee? That's the funniest thing I've ever heard... I've tracked my Touring 3x times, how many times have you taken yours to the track?

Congrats on allocation! I was informed both that there wouldn't be '24 production years and that there were no more allocations at some point on this thread....

And I think it reflects a bias (if not sometimes an intention) on the part of some owners of these cars (especially those who paid substantial ADM) to foster a perception of scarcity of these cars in hope of keeping up demand and prices. Fact is that Porsche can change their mind about allocation and production of these cars, so no one really knows what the supply of the cars will be. And economic conditions will certainly affect the market prices of these cars. As a future owner of the car, I expect the value of the car to depreciate over time. I'm buying the car to drive on the track, not as an investment. I really hope YOU get an allocation at or near MSRP.
