I was told that my allocation was to fill a slot that would have already been filled if it weren’t for supply constraints. That may explain PTS not being available for this slot.
To me,this makes sense. PAG had a target number for GT3s. If they weren’t hitting that number and they are now able to cover a shortage why wouldn’t they?
Funny how getting an MSRP allocation has become like having a winning lottery ticket or signifier of VIP status (winning lottery ticket in life?) or at least signifier of Porsche addict status.
I wish they made enough of these cars so that demand was met and there was no such thing as ADM. Fk exclusivity, the more the merrier.

I've given up on getting an allocation. Owning a performance 911 has been a dream of mine since young. But it is what it is and it's only a car....

Don't give up on getting an allocation. If they decided to build the 992.1 GT3 through MY 2024, more allocations may be coming over the next several months. And then 992.2 GT3 will be coming, which will likely be a better car (I hope they fix the aesthetics of the front). And then there will be the next GT3, which is still expected to be an NA car.
But you're right, they're only cars - toys. They can be a means to enjoyable experiences, but that can be accomplished by spending a fraction of the cost of a 992 GT3.
I can say I really don't crave any seat time either.
I don't crave seat time on the road in the 992 TTS either. But I have the same feeling about the 991 GT3 also, and I expect it will be the same with the 992 GT3.
For me, all three of those need to work as track cars. The 991 GT3 does, and I'm sure the 992 GT3 will also. Based on reviews, I expect that the 992 TTS will be on good on track, and I'll have the opportunity to try it soon.

If you got an MSRP allocation for a 992 TTS and a 992 GT3 from your dealer hold on to that relationship like a vice.
