A place to discuss all things ADM

wow really?? Cause most people I talk with say ADM is in the $150-$200k range and that is if you can even get a confirmed allocation. I'm onto my 5th dealership with this process now. None of them could give me a confirmed allocation. The dealership I'm working with now is a small market dealer who is getting 1 allocation and maybe another allocation in Q4.

Interesting. I'll look back. I thought $100k was a decent deal in the current market. Cause I just saw a 2023 with $276k MSRP (2024 = $292k) car sell in AZ for $500k.

Think you'll have to be a little patient - this point in a car's production cycle is very murky. A lot of price discovery with ADMs still. GT4 RS' started at $100k ADMs before stabilizing to $50k or so within a couple months.

Exactly, there's only cars on the ground and stop sales out there so it'll take a little time for things to stabilize.

Another datapoint - stunning GT3 Touring PTS BRG hammered for $281k including premium. Very healthy ADM of $75k. Hilariously, someone else bought a BRG touring on BAT just two months ago and paid $340k so that must feel kind of weird to watch this go for significantly less. No I don't think the market has softened by $60k in two months but this illustrates how it's tough to get a gauge of 'market value'.

I feel ever since the 1 millionth 911 was done in Irish green, greens in general have become very popular anew (vs having been associated to an old man's Camry color in the 2000s).

If it’s between parking up front or having your car moved so a bigger dawg gets the primo spot, it’s worth the extra $150k.

Not disagreeing with anything stated. The issue with these auctions is that are just that - auctions, and pricing is entirely a function of 'who's in the room' at closing. The $340K Touring had a tad higher MSRP ($8,500) but still a meaningful delta between the two. I would not draw a line based on these 2 isolated data points, as that $340K Touring could have ben $280K the very next week based again on who was in the room then (and ditto for today's BRG auction). But what the two data pts confirm is the trend continuation that PtS cars tend to bring all the boys to the yard, and continue to carry a meaningful premium/level of desirability.
Fun 'fact' - when I was spec'ing my PTS Touring and working with a PAG 'Consultant', I was asking her for an honest opinion on my top 3 color choices (realizing it is very subjective). One of the 3 was a shade of green and she politely steered me away stating that the PtS orders they had processed to date had an overwhelming amount of Greens (more so than she had ever seen in prior gens), to the point she felt some greens may even eclipse the # of some of the less popular factory / standard colors.
