New .2 GT3 RS wheel, pdk gear selector and alcantara console lid. Wheel is perfect for me, didn't want all the MF.

I prefer the look of the .2 wheel and love the super short pull of the .2 paddles.

The vision for changing up the interior is now half done.

Nice work! How hard or maybe how easy is the center console swap? Thanks

Beautiful how love the .2 wheel, I really don't like all the chrome in the 1... Maybe after everything else I want I'll do it lol

In the mean time since I just mentioned I hate chrome (and I'm not a fan of carbon interiors either...) I got the leather center trim.

Thanks, super simple. All of it.

For the arm rest cover, it's simply removing 10 or 12 hex screws underneath the console lid, pop off your old cover, put on new one and replace the screws. Done in 3 minutes.

Can you tell the exact diameter of that steering wheel? How much was it and can it be ordered without paddles?

Same size as the .1 wheel. I forget the MM size but you can get a slightly smaller diameter GT wheel apparently.

I was going to go that route but every option I found was hundreds of dollars more and wasn't worth the increased cost for me.

I'm sure you can find .2, alcantara wheels for manual cars. You won't find a .2 GT3 wheel without paddles though. Search fleabay. Tons of wheels up there.

The other path is to simply buy a used .2 manual wheel and have a shop customize it for you. Lots of shops do that. You can also go to Alibaba and find tons of overseas suppliers that do custom wheels for cheap.

Question Alcantara center console lid - T10 screws?

QQ: Is it the standard T10 fitting on the screws?

Contemplating if I should get the "PORSCHE" or Crest alcantara lid to replace the factory one installed on my 991.2 gts as I did a similar swap on my previous 997.2 (hence asking if it’s still a T10 screwdriver needed) :-)

Right back at you. 👍
Sorry for the late reply, I hadn't seen your post.

I got them on eBay from a seller in Latvia. Great seller, great selection of Porsche interior parts.

Btw I had to do a double take on your car. It looks just like mine, but with the steering wheel in the other side... great looking car!

Amazon Amazon
These vent mounts don't work well with a heavy phone, but perfect for the Dragy.

Haven't tried to use the Dragy to proper times yet due to snow, but like you @fsmich I will be using a Kenu phone holder. Have a bunch of them as I use them in all of my vehicles, and also keep a few spares in my travel bags (for rental cars).

They will stay in the vents under WOT as they hold my phone just fine when launching.

@polobai looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Dragy.

The hardest thing to do is find a flat segment of road.
