Will post a more detailed build log / review separately, but very happy with upgrading my Bose to a custom sound system from Apicella Auto Sound in Stony Point, NY. Mix of Audiofrog, Illusion, and Dynaudio speakers driven by Helix amps (V12 for front and DSP, M One for sub in rear) and fully integrated to the PCM w/a Nav-TV Zen V. Amazed at the stage and imaging we were able to get using all factory locations besides a sub on the parcel shelf that looks very OEM. Goes without saying, but also huge improvement in detail across the now wider frequency range vs. the Bose product.
Helix V Twelve Amp + DSP Integrated sub enclosure for Illusion C10 on rear parcel shelf Audiofrog GS8ND2 and GB25 in doors
APR Stage 3 GTS Turbo upgrade for my 991.2 Carrera S. Going to get the 93 octane tune along with it, so it will theoretically push me from 420hp/368tq to somewhere around 556hp/552tq.
Just curious what your cost was and what kind of shop did it?
I was quoted $2700 by my Porsche dealer service shop in the Midwest. Tempting, but my 450HP 2017 C2S Endurance Racing Edition with X51 PowerKit has more than a year Porsche new car warranty remaining, And that price seems high to me. And they said it would likely void my Porsche drivetrain warranty, but they would gladly offer me an after-market warranty on that. At an additional cost, of course!
We'll, my cost for the kit was what's on APR's web site - $6k. The install commences tomorrow, so I'm not sure how much it will amount to, but I was quoted about $2k. I'm also having some new diverter valves installed as well as the 30,000 mile service, so that will confuse the cost a little. I'll let you know when it's done.
If you've got the X51 powerkit, you already have the GTS turbos, so you should be able to get just the tune. And yes, it will have an impact on your warranty. My warranty ends in May, so I'm not very concerned about that.

17 C2S, went with Dan at Augment Wheels, 50th anniversary look, satin black with the diamond cut(aluminum) petals, stock offsets, comes with center caps, takes 6-8 weeks, hes gonna ceramic pro them.
Question my TPMS are 4 years 3 months old...should I get new TPMS, think the set runs $150 or so, car is graphite blue metallic
Should i keep the stock Sport wheels or sell them off
Curious as to why you picked these over the Pure turbos?
Sorry I missed this. Because I really wanted to stick with something that is closer to what was originally engineered into the car - these are basically the GTS turbos. That means that it should reduce any fitment issues, and according to the shop that is doing it right now, the turbos went on very smoothly with no issues at all. Secondly, I liked the idea of a complete and tested package, which is what the Stage 3 upgrade from APR is - it's the turbos, all O-rings and gaskets needed for the installation, and their ECU tune that they've developed. On 93 octane pump gas, it should be good for around 550hp/550lb-ft, which should be adequate. If I really want more, I can always go E85 or race gas.
