Quite the story guys!!! Welcome and thanks for sharing your story. Are you both identical twins by the way?

Imagine this beauty being your first Porsche!

Don't see it on their website yet. $112K seems to be the magical GTS price on the low end. Low miles and nice discount off MSRP.

Some Porsche dealers would be asking like $127K for this.

The NEW pickings have been SLIM over the past 7-10 days guys. Going into spring, I see prices holding very strong.

For the miles, and CPO, about the going rate. A really nice car. I'd be happier at $90K, but as we see with pricing, very strong.

Only 1.500 miles. If wanting a nearly new car, I'd be happy buying it in low 90's.

I think I posted this one not long ago.

Anytime. It's a real beauty. Love it. As you know, not easy to find a nice Sport Design pkg. With these miles, should be mint. I'd personally pay more for miles like this rather than $85K for 15k miles. That's me. I'm very picky about cosmetics.

With searching for cars guys, there's always some sacrifice and give/take. It can be price, options, miles, color, etc. You might be at a higher budget price if your dream car comes along, or vise versa.

The searches got tighter in 2016 and prices stayed strong. I expect it to continue in 2017.

It will be interesting to see how the next 1-3 years play out.

A local RLer just posted this beauty. Miles are a bit high, for the asking price, but the Techart goodies are pretty sweet. It's soooo much more tempting when one is located nearby!

Wow! I checked last night and it was still available and I just went to go call and leave a message with their stock number and it's already off their site and cars.com!

It would appear so... Rookie question here, but what do high quality aftermarket mods like those do for the value?

Usually very little. Many times harder to sell the car as many buyers want the car all OEM or OEM parts used. I've seen some TechArt mod cars sit and sit.

I've learned with the Porsche community, tinkering with these cars isn't good for resale.

In this case, this car will be lucky to get a $3K premium over had it been untouched.

3k premium is in the 80% depreciation ballpark, just like factory options.

Mods don't add value to a car. They help get a premium, but only for the right buyer. For the wrong buyer it detracts from the value.
