Offer still stands if anyone is interested in the car and wants me to go check it out.

This paint to sample 991 showed up at a dealer in Newport to for $80k. I inquired about the car from their website since their are no pics and the GM sent me the pics from the original ad since it's being shipped from Texas. I wonder what they paid for it.

^^^^^^

Nice work, but

This would have been a great buy for someone here.

I wonder if the seller traded in for something? I find it hard to believe a Hyundai dealer would just buy a car like a 911 to try and resell it?

A Porsche dealer would be very capable of doing it. They search for deals all the time.

Damn, I love this car, was hoping it was sold so I could stop thinking about it. Could a P dealer somehow work out a trade (for a fee) and also CPO the car (for another fee!)? Please say no so I can move on!

Hold on now, that one made it to Rhode Island?

From Dallas, in winter, a convertible?

ETA: for reference:

Yes it did. Double checked when I googled the vin and it took me back to HFS! They seem to have a handful of P-cars. Spring is coming and Newport is a wealthy area, so maybe buy your kid his first car and pick up a toy? Couple of 997 turbos too!

The listing the VIN# trick works!! Glad that was suggested to me and I started doing it with all my listings. Great way to document and track these great cars.

As much as I love it, I'm more likely to stick with my black GTS. It would basically have to be a no cost net trade (including CPO) for me to even consider which is an unlikely scenario.

It's possible, but a lot of work and some luck. I wouldn't worry about the CPO warranty.

I would just go for it buying it from the seller.

VIN: WP0AB2A97FS125839

Only 7K miles too!! You can prob get this for $102K. Even asking $ is very fair. Some dealers would be asking $120K+ for it!!

Think about it. Aerokit Cup manual GTS with PCCB, SPASM, PDCC, and 18ways. A rare bird.

STG - you devil!!!

Rambler_13 - your move. Keep the black one, give it to the wife, and take this yellow beauty home!

He did once say this! Maybe the "next time" has come sooner than expected.

The car being in UT and FSBO is probably the only reason it hasn't sold already. A great opportunity for someone here. Hopefully a HFS friend goes for it.

Imagine how much more attention a car this color gets over a black, white, or silver one with the exact same build?

Has anyone reached out to the seller?
