Seems high to me, but I like the build and color combo
Ah! Another Penske dealership. Better call the dealer and ask how much is their fixed fees.

I agree, somewhat of a tougher sell. But .... I've seen Anthracite Brown in person. A very nice color. This color combo is more of a classier look. Is it a GTS sporty look?? No. I still think it pulls it off and will definitely appeal to quite a few. I've learned to appreciate many different styles over the past 1-2 years. This is coming from a sporty Aero/Sport Design kinda guy like myself.

Looks like it has a radar detector too.

Tow hook license bracket too. No bumper holes! An enthusiast previous owner.

This baby is LOADED!

Sorry, can't endorse the mats! They're not too bad for this color combo.

This car is clean though!! Geez, even the mats are spotless. Look at those wheel barrels too.

I think this deal has Hurricane's discount off MSRP beat by like $1K-$2K or so

Almost...

That is a heck of a build and low miles, too! Surely there is someone out there that would love this car!

And that is a heck of a discount from MSRP! Great find!

Wow, not many options were left unticked on that one!
The price drop is crazy but I guess that's to be expected with highly optioned cars...

The depreciation % on the options over $140K in most cases is 80-100%. Your have to look at each car case by case.

2014 C4S CAB's in the $95K asking price range with approx 10K miles can have MSRP's around $135-$145K.

In the case of our Anthracite Brown CAB, the X51 option and PDCC, have depreciated 100%. The LED headlights are up there too. Burmester has about a 50% depreciation rate too. The exterior color choice has hit resale by like $5-8K as well.

On a side note ... cars that have PCCB brakes, are given $0 credit by dealers at trade in, and return virtually nothing at resale. Excessive leather options have very high depreciation in the 80-100% range as well.

Like mentioned, you have to look at each car case by case. Variants vary as well. What affects a GTS will be different than a C2S. Overall, many things noted hold true.

^^^ that would be a fine ride for me if I was comfortable to take on $95,000 as a daily driver. This one isn't finished depreciating :-/

This is exactly the kind of information that makes the HFS thread so valuable to prospective buyers!

Just got an email. Thought I'd pass along. Have used Sunset quite a bit. Maybe too much $$$!

Additional discount bonus over already low prices. This is Sunset in Oregon. Nice website if you want to see part diagrams, etc. AND PART NUMBERS!!

Their website isn't as shopper friendly as Suncoast in FL., but prices are usually better though.

Here is Suncoast's site as well. Great service as well. Nice guys:

I know, confusing! Sunset (OR) and Suncoast (FL)

It's amazing how a roughly $50k spread on MSRP becomes $10k-$15k spread after depreciation. Your analysis shows why.

Exactly. For example, take a 2013 C2S. Get past the basics of PDK/Manual, Sport Chrono, PSE, 14 ways, Bose, and few other extras. Say a $120-$125K MSRP.

Most "dealer builds" don't go too crazy with MSRP's, because they have a hard time moving very high ones.

So, come resale, the 2013 C2S "sales pool" all gets averaged together and the over the top MSRP ones lose a much higher depreciation percentage.

A $150K 2013 C2S is competing against a $125K one. The spread at resale may only be $5K between the two.

Porsche is unique in the fact that you can go crazy with the ala carte options. Geez, you can have a $50K spread in MSRP on a single variant (for example a 2014 C4S). Not very common among other car brands that bundle many options.

Hard to generalize, but you guys get the picture.

So the moral of the story is: Go get the high MSRP one and get all of those cool upgrades basically for free.
