I have a couple links saved to my iPhone notes. I copy and replace the VIN # on the end for the car I want to see. Right after the =
It's nice with the notes, because a click and it opens in Safari.

Awesome, thanks!
Thoughts on where I should try to be on this car in terms of an offer? It has been there for a bit I believe, as they have dropped the price from $92,995 to around $91k. I love the Sport Design and overall build spec w/o sunroof. Seems to be a purists car. Am hoping to be in the car around $87k, which may be a bit ambitious. For sure sub-$90k.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that!
Here's the car I am considering. 2014 C2S w/ 12k miles and CPO. They have had it a bit and have dropped it from $92.9k to around $91k. I'm hoping to be comfortably sub-$90k, but overall love the car! Love the build spec, especially the Sport Design. Appears you are a fan of a silver SD car as well!

Three Wheelin'
If nothing else it helps to narrow the gap between what they want and what you feel its worth.

Sharp car! Yes, love the SD package and silver!
The one you posted has SPASM too in addition to SC and PSE. 18 ways are a nice bonus. Burmester and the black headlight package! Sweet. No sunroof either.
Jump on it ASAP!! Not many optioned out like this one.

What do you think the $ number should be?

Should be, or what they can sell it for?? I'd wish it was $85K, but isn't going to happen.
Like our friend above with the car in Utah, probably not a huge discount. I think you'd be lucky for $89K. Offer $88K and go from there. I think it's easily worth $90-91K.

I had my eyes on this C4S for a moment too, I like the fact that is has PDCC and carbon brakes. But the interior is too bright for me. This one is also certified by Porsche and low miles.

Wow prices are strong and appear to be climbing - at least compared to 4 or 5 months ago when I was looking. This is definitely peak selling time by the sounds of it!

I think it's mostly economic. Signs are pointing to a slow down in many industries already. The numbers show it. I personally think it will get worse. 2017 and 2018 could be another big economic dip. We're due for one, and I'm seeing many signs of excess building and expansion all over the place with banks once again being very loose.
The preowned value equation is a much better value for those wanting to make more wise financial choices during cautious times. Look at PCNA's sales. Clearly show that.
PCNA: 2.4% increase in all new sales vs 21.9% increase in CPO sales in 2016 so far. That's a huge difference.
Another very small factor is the 991.1 last of the NA's. The new 911's have also gotten VERY expensive. They increase in price EVERY model year!!
We know how much depreciation is too. The whole reason why I started this thread and went that route with my purchase.
That's my take on it! I'm not good at lottery numbers. Anyone??

As far as pricing overall: the bit stronger economy has allowed middle class buyers like myself (who haven't had a car payment in years and have made do with reliable but basic transport) to get into a dream 911, especially seeing at how strong they are holding value right now. A new Ford Fusion would cost you more in depreciation right now than a lightly used C2S; same thing could be said with 90% of the new cars on the road. I think that is helping 2nd-hand sales for sure. I bought an M235i end of winter (been sitting on a lot in Colorado all winter, loaded and priced at wholesale) and took it to my BMW consignment specialist: he was able to pocket $2100 for me and $2500 for him in commission; there is definitely demand right now for premium 2nd-hand cars all around.
As for new cars, I can't comment; I am not and never will be floating in that tax bracket!

I was getting excited about the cup pack, but then I saw the accident history. What kind of impact does that have on values? I also noted it's not CPO, so that makes me even more nervous.

Price seems high, we paid $78k for the same build, same mileage, 2013 in showroom condition. This one seems like it should be $85k w/clean carfax, $82k as-is
