Sad to see it in this condition.... But really got me interested! Current bid is at $10,200. Only problem is I just discovered this listing today, and sale closes Monday -- I am not able to move that quick I'm afraid.
Of course you never know with wrecks like this, but based on what I can see (looking at the wheel well structure, the front tub sheet metal "frame" lines, windshield and other glass apparently not cracked or broken, and condition of the hood, I would say this might just be a "replace the front drivetrain, suspension, lights, and front bits. Frame could be bent -- who knows. All-wheel drive car and I say non-starter. But RWD GTS, not damaged anywhere else? Now you're talking! I just wouldn't have the time from today to get on a plane and jump to Sacramento (where this is located currently) for an inspection before the sale closes to the highest bidder....

If the frame isn't bent, then wouldn't be bad I assume buying it "at the right price". Would be nice if a pro looked at it to see what condition it's really in.
I can see this selling for $40-$50K I'm guessing. The engine alone is worth a lot more than the current asking price. Keep us posted!
What is the mileage??

4,570 and change.... which is super attractive looking at the rest of the car. You're right- just the part-out on this car would be much higher $$$. I am told there is only one other bidder, and this bid hasn't changed for a week. So I'm considering a risky "sight-unseen" crazy bid on Monday if it is still at $10,200. Worst case if the frame is all bent and so on, I pay to ship it back east and part-out with someone local.

Yeah I was questioning what the salvage club coupe would sell for ~$11k. Some wishful thinking going on.
It is being sold "On Approval" which means the seller has reserved the right to accept the highest bid. Basically there is a reserve on the car.
